Fans of Vampire Diaries will have another bloodsucking drama series to sink their teeth into soon with the release of Emma Roberts’ First Kill

The Netflix series tells the story of teenage vampire Juliette who must make her first kill so she can take her place among a powerful vampire family. She sets her sights on a new girl in town named Calliope. But much to Juliette's surprise, Calliope is a vampire hunter, from a family of celebrated slayers. Both find that the other won't be so easy to kill and, unfortunately, way too easy to fall for...

The TV series was first announced in October 2020, with Holidate’s Emma Roberts (who last year gave birth to her first child) executive producing it with Karah Preiss, New York Times best-selling author Victoria 'V. E.' Schwab and Felicia D. Henderson (Gossip Girl, Empire, Soul Food).
