Fans have spotted ‘Boris Johnson’ in Bridgerton, and it’s the most unlikely cameo ever.

Season two of the steamy period drama recently landed on Netflix, and viewers have already managed to find themselves another Easter egg - including the UK’s Prime Minister supposedly making an appearance on the show.

The moment, which TikTok user @txharvey highlighted as supposedly depicting the PM on the show alongside Simone Ashley’s Kate Sharma, has already had fans in hysterics - and we can totally see why.

“I’m dead,” one fan admitted alongside a slew of laughing emojis.

“He came to tell Kate she was fit to work after her head injury,” another quipped.

“No wonder she couldn't fall asleep,” said a different commenter.

Someone else added: “I thought I was going insane when I saw that in the show.”

“I’d love to know who the set designer was that snuck this in,” someone else wrote.

Jess commented: “I mean, Trump is in home alone so anything is possible.”

Her comment, of course, refers to the moment in which the former US president made a cameo on Home Alone 2: Lost in New York when Macaulay Culkin asks the tycoon for directions in a hotel lobby.

More recently, though, Bridgerton fans have become convinced that Anthony Bridgerton shared a subtle hint as to how many children he will eventually have with Kate.

Superfans of the show spotted one specific scene, in which Kate has recovered from her horse-riding accident - and they're sure it was a nod to the future for the pair.

At the end of the series, when Anthony and Kate meet at the ball, Anthony, ensuring that she has recovered from her injury, holds up his fingers and asks Kate how many she sees.

He cheekily switches from three fingers to four as she answers - possibly signalling to fans about how many children the couple will have together.
