People Are Making Sweet Toasties On TikTok And They Look So Dreamy

Let's face it, pretty much all food is better when you put it between bread and toast it.

From classic chip butties to cranberry, brie and bacon, to tuna and cheddar, we Brits are pros at sexing up the humble sandwich.

And now, some of us are taking toasties to a brand new level. Loading them up with lashings of chocolate, marshmallows, biscuits and sugar (and with extra butter on top for a truly crispy sandwich), the good people of TikTok have made toasties the ultimate dessert as well as your standard lunchtime staple.

Prepare to feel hungry...and maybe even a little sick.

TikTokker @thehungerdiaries got us desperate to try this trend with their indulgent marshmallow and Nutella toastie, fried up in a pan.

After melting some butter, the TikTok star fried cut a thick slice of brioche bread and generously spread butter on one side. They then placed the butter side down on a hot pan.

Levelling up her bread, @thehungerdiaries then spread a generous dollop of marshmallow fluff on the other side, before adding a thick helping of Nutella chocolate and yet more buttered bread.

Never mind the cheese pull, just look at how gorgeous this chocolate and marshmallow mess looks!

Another toastie that appears to be finger-licking good is @pleesecakes chocolate, toffee and Lotus Biscoff spread mix.

After buttering the outer layer of two pieces of white bread with Flora Light, the TikTokker loads one slice with toffee loaded chocolates, Poppets, before drizzling a healthy amount of Lotus Biscoff sauce. Whacking it in a Breville for a few moments, melty chocolatety Biscoff heaven is all yours to get your teeth round.

If a full sandwich seems a little too heavy for you to digest, you can try these cute little chocolate toastie pockets instead.

TikTok user @theyummiediaries got some mini Kinder Bueno eggs and some white chocolate chips, and scattered them around the centre of a slice of white bread. Placing another slice of white bread on top, the Tiktokker then used the rim of a glass to cut a circle, with the chocolately filling, outside the bread, before popping in the toaster.

Or, if you're at least trying to be healthy, you can give @hollyb_fitness' s chocolate biscoff French toastie a try - using rye bread, low calorie chocolate and a selection of berries.

But if you're really looking for a full-on sugar-rush, we recommend this Easter-themed toastie by @ToastieKing. Combining Mini Eggs, Kit Kat Easter Bunny biscuits, marshmallows and a whole Crème Egg inside two slices of some mighty white, prepare for your teeth to start itching afterwards.
