Exciting news for all Marmite fans! As if Marmite peanut butter and Marmite cream cheese weren't enough, we've now got another tasty collaboration to enjoy.

Introducing... Marmite Houmous. Yep, you heard that right.

We'll admit when we first heard about Marmite and houmous coming together, we weren't sure how to feel.

But, thinking about it, there's no reason the combo shouldn't work.

Made with cooked chickpeas, tahini sesame seed paste, lemon juice, garlic purée and a healthy dose of the nation's favourite yeast spread, the new dip promises an extra salty, umami flavour kick that's bound to be a treat for the tastebuds.

The Marmite houmous is available in Tesco now (

Whether you want to dip your carrots into it, slather it toast or heap it on the side of your plate alongside dinner, the houmous will certainly add a little something extra to your next meal.

So far, it looks like the new Marmitey houmous is currently only available at Tesco, where it can be purchased for a very reasonable £1.50. You can check if its available where you are here.

Tyla has contacted Tesco and Marmite for more info on the tasty new addition.

On the topic of Marmite themed treats, have you tried the new flavoured cream cheese and butters, which launched in M&S at the start of lockdown?

You can also get Marmite cream cheese (

The Marmite cream cheese costs £2.50 per 140g, and is the perfect pairing for a morning bagel, bowl of pasta or even a steaming bowl of tasty tomato soup.

A combination of cool and light cream cheese and the infamous British spread, the cheesy delight comes after the Marmite cheddar bites have been a roaring success ever since they launched back in 2007.

Alongside the cheesy new addition, the Marmite butter (£3) comes in packs weighing 100g, and adds that distinctive salty taste to your toast, as well as being perfect slathered over a roast and jacket potato. Mmmm.

There's basically no meal that can't be Marmite-ified now. And, hey - you'll either love that or hate it.
