Asda Launches Entire Pigs-In-Blankets Range For Christmas

Hands down, the best part of any Christmas dinner is the pigs-in-blankets.

It's one of the things we look forward to the most when we settle down to our festive lunch - and now, Asda is looking to jazz up the roast dinner staple with a brand new range focusing on sausages wrapped in bacon.

The seven new products pay homage to everyone's favourite seasonal sausage, with flavours to suit every palate.

For those looking to turn up the heat, the Extra Special Double Chilli Pigs in Blankets may be right up your street. Made with prime cuts of British pork, blended with Carolina Reaper hot chillies and wrapped in the finest oak smoked streaky bacon, these fiery sausages are ideal for daring chilli lovers - and all for £2.25.

If you've got more of a sweet tooth, Asda are also offering Candied Pigs in Blankets, with offset spice with sugar sprinkled on top: ideal for the big day or even as a treat for a decadent Christmas breakfast.

For those who simply enjoy the traditional trimming, the supermarket are also offering its Extra Special Pigs in Blankets, priced at £2.50, and Party Pigs in Blankets, priced at £1.40. Each pack of 12 contains succulent cocktail sausages that are seasoned with classic spices and wrapped in tasty bacon to give a hearty festive flavour that will satisfy even the fussiest of eaters.

But for those among us who are so pigs-in-blankets obsessed that we would even consider having them as a snack, Asda has also released a number of sausage and bacon flavoured treats to chow down on before the big day.

For those who want something to crunch on before their roast is served, the supermarket is offering Pigs in Blankets Peanuts before the main event. Priced at just £1.25, these sausage and bacon flavour roasted peanuts are coated in maize for a solid, moreish finish.

And for those looking for the perfect bowl of snacks to munch on while watching their favourite festive flick, Asda has released Pigs-in-Blanket flavoured crisps - far more exotic than your usual smoky bacon snacks, giving customers the taste of their favourite trimming throughout the festive season all for 85p per bag.

If that's still not enough pork to fork action, Asda is also offering a Pig-in-Blanket Sausage Roll that combines two festive favourites. The scrumptious sausage roll is made up of seasoned sausage meat wrapped in streaky bacon and hand rolled in flaky puff pastry. Each sausage roll is cooked in store, sold fresh for £5.
