We only really want to eat turkey at Christmas. And does anybody really like sprouts? The jury is out. But Marks & Spencer's latest food delight is the one part of Christmas dinner we can't get enough of: pigs in blankets. The best part? They're 1ft long, there are two of them and they are the heaviest that any supermarket is selling. The more the merrier.
Made with outdoor-bred pork sausage and wrapped in delicious, outdoor-bred streaky bacon they're just £5.
When the supermarket posted them on their Instagram account they prompted a huge reaction- so they're sure to get Grandma's chin wagging at the Christmas dinner table.

&S Meat Product Developer, Sarah Loxton explains: "Pigs in blankets have always been my favourite part of a Christmas dinner and I know I'm not alone."
She continues: "This year we've pulled out all the stops and have developed two, giant foot long pigs in blankets. Why not try as a festive hot dog with lashings of cranberry sauce."
Asda and Aldi have both entered the pigs in blankets battle earlier this year with each launching foot-long treats. But with ASDA's weighing in at 650g and Aldi's foot-long pair at 200g each, M&S is the Christmas-dinner heavyweight weighing in at a whopping 670g.
The M&S foot-long, meaty beauties cost £5 for two and will be available in stores from Wednesday, 12th December 2018.
