Christmas is a time for family - pets included.
Yep, the high-street supermarket is getting our pooches involved in the Crimbo feasting, launching its very own seasonal animal food range, affordably priced between 90p and up to £5.
Most exciting is the doggy mince pie range. Available across the country for £2.50 per two-pack, the minced pies are made using carob, a pet friendly alternative to chocolate.
Topped with a turkey biscuit star for decoration and a bit of added meaty flavour for your canine friend, they look so similar to the real thing you could be forgiven for eating one by accident.
As part of Sainsbury's new pet range, you can also treat your dog to a whole biscuit tin full of woof friendly delights for £5.
These include Christmas pudding biscuits and log bones for your dog to gnaw under the tree.
And if you really want to push the boat out they can even join the fun as you plate up Christmas dinner, as they've also launched a dog friendly version to serve up, too.
A pack of six festive dinners costs just £2.50, and offers two options for your dog to tuck into.
On Christmas Day adult dogs can either enjoy turkey and carrots seasoned with a hint of sage or a three bird feast, with chicken, duck and turkey.
Alternatively, there's a plain Turkey dinner for £1. (Because of course, dogs should have a choice, too.)
It's not just dogs that can delight in this new range, as there's also plenty of feline offerings.
Similar kitty varieties of the dog Christmas dinner six packs are also available at £3, while cats can munch their own tailor made biscuits available at the same price.
For the more prestige cats, a fancy Turkey mousse is available too, for just 90p.
At this rate, our pets will be eating better than us this Christmas!
