McDonald's Is Launching Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets

Don't freak out, but McDonald's is officially launching Katsu Curry-flavoured Chicken McNuggets.

A fusion of our two favourite dishes - the Japanese Katsu Curry and a box of Chicken Nugs - the limited edition menu item will be hitting our restaurants on the 30^th December.

Made up of 100 per cent chicken breast meat in a crispy Katsu Curry panko breadcrumb coating, the nugs are accompanied by a classic Sweet Curry dip for a bit of extra added spice.

They Asian spiced nuggets are only on sale for six weeks, so you don't have long to gorge on them before they disappear.

Like regular nugs, they will be available in six (£3.59), nine (£4.09) and 20 piece (£5.99) boxes.

But we won't tell if you decide to order a whole sharebox for yourself...

While you wait for those nuggets to drop in your local branch, might we remind you that the festive menu is now available to sample as we rapidly hurtle towards Christmas?

There's no turkey in sight at the chain, which have released a mouth-watering Double Big Mac for the festive season.

Perfect for those who are especially hungry, the mighty meaty burger has an astounding four beef patties as opposed to the usual two, and is topped with the signature Big Mac cheese, lettuce, onions and sauce - all for £4.19 (or £5.69 as a meal).

Another product to keep an eye out for is the Jamaican jerk chicken sandwich which contains two pieces of crispy chicken with a spicy jerk sauce, bacon, pepper jack cheese, onion and lettuce in a sourdough bun - all for £4.39 (or £5.69 as a meal).

Plus, for dessert, you can get your hands on a Celebrations McFlurry (because, what else would you want at Christmastime?!).

In other McDonald's news, the fast food chain is also currently offering a free portion of its well-loved Cheese Melt Dippers for free today, to boost everyone's spirits.

The helping of four breaded cheese dippers made with indulgent camembert, served with a tangy Tomato Dip will be added to your order for no extra charge if you order an Extra Value Meal on the McDonald's app.

The dippers are available for those who order to eat in (Tiers 1 and 2 only) as well as click and collect and drive-thru.

And with the dippers costing £1.69 on the menu, it's the perfect snack to add onto your usual lunchtime takeaway.
