Kopparberg has unveiled a new fruity gin just in time for summer, and the tipple sounds like a sip of sunshine.
Nothing marks British summertime more than a strawberry and lime fruit cider consumed over ice in a packed beer garden, and now Kopparberg has launched its first pink gin in the same beloved flavour as the weather starts to warm.
The new London-dry style gin will be served from 6th May at over 700 Greene King pubs across the UK, before rolling into ASDA and Morrisons stores from 22nd May.

You will be able to pick up a 70cl bottle from the two supermarkets for £22.
Kopparberg's pink gin has been infused with strawberry and lime flavours as well as bold juniper, refreshing lemon zest and herby coriander botanicals.
And the rose-tinted tipple is far stronger than a bottle of the cider as it comes with an ABV of 37.5 per cent, compared to only 4 per cent in the strawberry and lime flavour.

"We are extremely excited to be bringing our new Premium Gin to the UK," said Kopparbeg's Rob Salvesen of the new gin launch, adding: "Kopparberg is famous for flavour and we've worked hard to create a pink gin in the iconic Kopparberg flavour of strawberry and lime, that we know the nation loves."
He continued: "We look forward to seeing pink gin fans across the country spend many sunsets making memories with friends this summer with a glass of Kopparberg Premium Gin."

Kopparberg says it has worked with mixologists to create the perfect serve for the new gin, and we can't decide which one we want to try first.
The first is served over ice with lemonade, garnished with freshly slices strawberries and limes. And the second combines the fruity spirit with tonic water, cucumber and basil.
