An ice cream parlour in Scotland has launched Biscoff sauce on tap and it really is what dreams are made of.

Mackie's, the Scottish ice cream makers, announced the new flavour would be arriving at its Aberdeen branch following the parlour's reopening last week.

You can see the tap in action below - just *look* at the beauty of it!

Do we need to order an ice cream or can we drink this from the tap? Asking for a friend...

You can have the smooth, biscuity topping on anything you like - from ice creams to waffles and crepes. We're pretty sure it would make a great addition to just about anything.

In the past, the parlour has offered peanut butter and white chocolate sauce on tap, as well as a milk chocolate option - but let's face it, Biscoff is by far the superior topping of choice.

The Aberdeen branch, 'Mackies 19.2', reopened on 1st July for takeaway and delivery, following its closure due to coronavirus - and what a way to mark its return.

The parlour is 19.2 miles away from Mackie's family Westertown Farm, where it produces its luxurious ice cream and chocolate ranges - hence the name!

Parlour Manager Yvette Harrison said: "Our team have fallen in love with the new addition and we are looking forward to sharing it with our customers.

"Biscoff sauce on our handmade ice cream will be an added treat this summer. Hopefully, it will be as big of a hit with our customers as the previous ever-flowing taps. It's a real on-trend flavour so will be interesting to see.

"You can still enjoy Mackie's milk chocolate from the other tap - and if you can't decide which one is best - just have both on your ice cream."

We don't need any persuading on that front!

Posting on Instagram about the sauce tap, the parlour wrote: "New Hot Sauce Alert! Look what we have successfully trialled in our everflowing tap, hot Biscoff sauce - it's delicious!!"

Thankfully, followers have also admitted they would be tempted to simply "drink this from the tap" while one tagged a friend and commented: "Once this lockdown is over we need to meet and go here!"

Road trip to Aberdeen anyone? Or, better still, please can all ice cream parlours across the UK install one of these ASAP? Cheers.
