Barry M Launches Harry Potter Make-Up Collection

Barry M Launches Harry Potter Make-Up Collection

We all need a little magic in our lives right now - and it seems Barry M is here to provide some.

The cult-favourite make-up brand is collaborating with The Harry Potter shop to create the wizarding world's first ever beauty range.

The new collection pays homage to a number of key elements and characters in the Harry Potter franchise, including the four Hogwarts houses, the infamous Deathly Hallows, and the hugely eccentric fan-favourite Luna Lovegood.

As you can imagine, the new range features both vibrant hues and dark, gothic shades so you can create a number of looks that are just magical.

If you fancy embracing your inner wicked witch, the Deathly Hallows collection is right up your street. Coming in black snakeskin packaging and featuring the iconic Elder Wand, Resurrection Stone and The Cloak of Invisibility, the vegan and cruelty-free range features a black, opaque Nail Paint, a pot-style Liquid Eyeliner, a long-lasting eyeliner pencil, a pack of two nail file kit and an intense black lipstick, perfect for creating a flawless ultra-smooth pout.

The collection also includes a brush set with six essential brushes for eyes, lips and face, a black mascara and a highly pigmented eyeshadow palette. It's perfect if you want to work some Black Magic a la Bellatrix Lestrange.

The Hogwarts House Make-Up, however, will help you celebrate your house pride. Whether you're a Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, even a sneaky Slytherin, you can pledge your allegiance without a Sorting Hat. . The collection includes four nail paints, available in each traditional House colour alongside a stunning compact mirror. A two-pack nail file kit made up of one emery board nail file and one luxurious glass file is also available.

The palette features ten rich and blendable shades that will have you feeling as brave as a Gryffindor, as loyal as a Hufflepuff, as wise as a Ravenclaw and as ambitious as a Slytherin - perfect for party season.

But our personal favourite is the Luna Lovegood collection - the set features two shimmery nail paints, two sparkly lip-glosses and two holographic eyeshadow toppers which are available in iridescent, glittery shades.

Perhaps the most magical of all, the range includes two colour-changing lipsticks, which adapt the Alkaline in your lips, giving you a lip colour as unique as Evanna Lynch's Luna herself.

With prices starting at £3.95, the entire make-up range features the perfect stocking fillers for Christmas, and can be purchased from The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 3/4, Kings Cross, online at www.harrypotterplatform934.com, www.HarryPotterStore.com and in-store at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London.
