Online dating can become quite mundane after a while; with boring chats, ghosting and a lack of chemistry rampant.

But with every dull swipe or match, singletons can often find a diamond in the rough.

This is true for one woman who has now shared her hilarious exchange with a man she met on Hinge in which she jokingly requested he apply for a date with a resume - and he actually did.

Watch the video below:

Financial expert and blogger Becca, who posts on TikTok as @blondebrokeandbougie, shared the video on Thursday and it quickly accumulated over two million views.

In the video, Becca details her initial conversation with the unnamed man in which she requested him to present his credentials.

Following along with the joke, the man asked for her email address and sent a full resume, with the headline "charming single man".

Becca and the man were fully committed to the joke, with Becca inviting the gentleman to a "first round interview" after he clearly impressed her with his resume.

She even ended her emails with "kind regards". We're obsessed with this level of commitment.

The creative Hinge users met up for a date and thankfully Becca gave viewers a few tidbits about what the man was like in person.

TikTok users are begging for a follow-up video. One person wrote: “Ma’am you have to share how the interview went. Will the candidate be proceeding to a second round?”

Another singleton shared: “If this doesn’t work out the rest of us might as well fold up shop. This is a masterpiece”.

A third confessed: “I must not be filling out the applications right because I never get interviews.”

One woman urged: “Marry him. Getting a guy that has a sense of humour only happens one in 2,000,000 times.”

Another woman shared: “This is SO CHARMING. I love when people commit to the bit.”

An enthusiastic commenter typed: “This is the only level of energy we’re accepting in 2022!”

While someone else declared: “With this level of effort, think of future dates and potential anniversaries and birthdays”.
