The Royal Family have been leading VE Day celebrations today, with numerous events taking place in London and throughout the UK to mark 80 years since the formal acceptance of Germany's surrender in WWII.
Many people are hosting street parties to celebrate the victory back in 1945, while also paying tribute to all those who lost their lives.
King Charles and Queen Camilla will even be hosting a tea party of their own today, hosting veterans and members of the WWII generation at Buckingham Palace.

Earlier today, crowds gathered in the capital for a military procession and flypast from the Red Arrows, with actor Timothy Spall kicking off proceedings by delivering an excerpt from Sir Winston Churchill’s 1945 victory speech.
William, Kate and their children George, Charlotte and Louis were among the audience, with applause from the public as they took their seats alongside the King and Queen for the parade, watching as military units marched down The Mall from Whitehall.

But while many eyes were on the procession, some eagle-eyed viewers watching at home spotted an amusing moment between Louis and his older brother George.

During Sky News’ footage, a camera focused on the siblings as George went to fix his hair, running his fingers through his locks to move it out of his face.
Moments later, Louis then appeared to mimic him, with an obvious display of exaggeration.
Commenting on X, one user wrote: “Prince Louis copying his brother Prince George is so funny.”

Someone else said: “I cannot with Prince Louis. Look at him mimicking Prince George and adding some ‘snazz’ to it. He is truly the moment.”

A third laughed: “That child IS EXTRA.”
A fourth added: “The prince of trolling. Had me rolling when I saw it.”

The Royal Family found itself in headlines at the end of last week after Prince Harry gave a bombshell interview with the BBC, claiming he and his father were no longer on speaking terms over the long-running dispute over security.

However, it's believed Buckingham Palace hopes 'nothing will detract or distract from celebrating with full cheer and proud hearts that precious victory and those brave souls, on this most special and poignant of anniversaries', with a palace aide saying Charles and Camilla will lead the nation in 'celebrating, commemorating and giving thanks to the wartime generation whose selfless devotion, duty and service should stand as an enduring example to us all - and must never be forgotten'.
