Princess Beatrice just quietly introduced her baby to the public months after birth made history and nobody noticed

Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi just quietly introduced their baby to the world, almost six months after she was born.

The royal couple announced the arrival of their second child, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, on 29 January at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

And now, the parents, who are also mum and dad to three-year-old daughter Sienna, gave the world a rarely-seen glimpse of the little one as they popped up at the Lionesses victory parade in London today (July 29).

The family - Beatrice, Edoardo, her stepson, Christopher Woolf, daughter Sienna and baby Athena - seemed to be enjoying themselves as they were spotted in the crowds at The Mall.

After a nail-biting final on Sunday (July 27) the England women’s team reigned victorious over Spain following a dramatic penalty shootout.

And it seems that Beatrice wanted to celebrate the historic moment with her girls, as they got involved in the 65,000-strong crowd to cheer for the squad.

The royal looked effortlessly chic in a knitted cream jumper and long blue and pink floral maxi skirt.

She went makeup-free for the outing and wore her hair pulled back into a bun, as the family got close to the railings to be in the middle of the action.

Meanwhile, her husband donned a blue shirt and khaki shorts as he kept their six-month-old baby girl strapped firmly to his front, wearing a sweet pink babygrow.

Taking to social media to react to the new pictures, royal family fans wrote on Twitter: “That is so special love that family,” and: “Lovely. Really like Eugene & Beatrice. Admire how they stay so grounded, especially with parents like theirs.”

A third penned: “Aww sweet photos! Look at adorable Sienna holding up a drawing of our flag!”

While a fourth added: “Wow!! I loved this. They could have had premium access but they chose to be just as ordinary as possible.

“Princess Beatrice is living the thrill of nonroyalty. I also loved how they involved their children to such experience.”

Baby Athena’s birth made history back in January, making her the first member of the royal family to be part of Generation Beta - or Gen Beta for short.

The latest generation of babies will be born between 2025 and 2039 and could end up being the first generation to live into the 22nd century.

They’ll be following in the footsteps of Generation Alpha, who were born between 2010 and 2024.

Athena was born several weeks premature and weighed just 4 pounds and 5 ounces when she was first welcomed to the world on January 22.

The new family outing also comes just after Beatrice and Edoardo celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with a stunning Scotland getaway.

The couple, who have been together since 2018, celebrated by sharing a sweet photo together, with Edoardo penning a heartfelt message.

In the caption, he wrote: “Happy 5th Anniversary to my incredible partner, the most beautiful and amazing wife.

“I cherish every moment we’ve spent together and am deeply grateful for our journey. Here’s to countless more years filled with laughter and tons of love!”
