The Duchess of Sussex is being supported by her fans this week, after coming under fire for 'staging' a video of Prince Harry.
Meghan, 44, shared the seemingly controversial clip online following the Los Angeles' Dodgers victory against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday (1 Nov) for the 2025 World Series.
In it, she and her husband can be seen watching the final minutes of the nail-biting game in their private theatre room alongside the mother-of-two's former Suits co-star, Kelly Mckee Zajfen.
The black and white video starts with Harry, 41, sitting beside Zajfen, before Meghan is heard shrieking excitedly off-camera. "Oh, my god," she yells following the Dodgers' win, before walking over to the Prince and planting a kiss on his lips.

The Duchess and Zajfen then jump and down hug one another, given that Meghan's hometown had secured an almighty triumph.

"Best game ever!!!" the former actress captioned the sweet clip. "Sorry H your team didn’t win but mine diiiiiiiiid. @dodgers I LOVE YOU!!!!"
Sadly, however, Meghan's celebration was quickly tainted by a number of online trolls, many of whom accused her of 'staging' the video for views.
After the clip was shared by the New York Post, one critic hit out: "It’s so staged. I wish she’d just learn to read the damn room."
Another claimed: "Perfectly staged. Inauthentic."
As we say, however, a number of fans have since rushed to the royal couple's defence, pointing out that - even if it is staged - there's no harm in attempting to surprise the man you love.
"Whether it is staged or not - why the fuss - how does it affect your life - REALLY?" one questioned in the same Instagram comments. "We all know we are in a govt shutdown and people are hungry - right?!? And people are worried about this ???"
Another agreed, pointing out: "She's a planner!"

"Maybe she was a bit tipsy and having fun.." suggested another. "Maybe that is annoying to her husband… not unheard of."
A fourth went on to add: "Meg was born and raised in LA! She is just fine enjoying the WIN!!"
Thankfully, according to the Duchess' own claims, since returning to social media back in January after a four-year break, she's garnered a more resilient approach to online criticism.
Speaking to podcast host Emma Grede on her Aspire show back in June, Meghan insisted she's 'grateful' that 'being back on social' has allowed her to share her content 'on [her] own terms'.

"You have to be authentic," she explained, referring to backlash she'd recently received for sharing her 'labour dance' throwback video earlier this year, to celebrate her daughter, Princess Lilibet's fourth birthday.
"By the way, that wasn’t yesterday. That was four years ago," Meghan added of said video.
"So it’s also a really great reminder that, with all the noise or whatever people do, there’s still a whole life. A real, authentic, fun life that’s happening behind the scenes."
