King Charles appeared flustered at the VE Day celebrations last week (5 May), as Keir Starmer stepped in after Queen Camilla lost an item.
Last Monday (5 May) was one of the first occasions this year where we saw the royal family all gathered together to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
While many across the UK celebrated in their own way, hosting street parties and get-togethers, the royals enjoyed the annual flypast and a parade.

But there seemed to be an awkward encounter during the parade between King Charles and Queen Camilla, as she momentarily lost something that flustered her husband.
Luckily, none other than prime minister Keir Starmer was on hand to help out with the situation - despite breaking royal protocol in the process.
Speaking to the Express, lip reader Nicola Hickling says she was able to work out what was said between the senior royals.
Camilla had allegedly lost her water, and turned to her husband for some help.

According to Hickling, the King responded: "Well, I have water given to me, yours should be there, just like everyone’s."
Starmer stepped in, and added: "Do you want me to see if I can get your water?"
Charles allegedly responded: "It’s a difficult place for it, I appreciate it."

After tapping her majesty on the shoulder, letting her know he had retrieved her water, Camilla apparently said: "Thank you, I am so parched today."
But touching a royal before they have made contact first is a breach of protocol, despite however helpful the gesture may have been.
The rule is a long-standing tradition, and it was initially put in place to establish distance between a member of the royal family and 'commoners'.
Brutal.

They usually initiate contact in the form of a handshake, but younger royals such as William and Kate have been known to go in for a hug on rare occasions.
But this wasn't the only awkward encounter Camilla experienced on VE Day.
While the family were on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, it was alleged that William was playing a game of 'guess the aircraft' with his eldest son George, during the flypast.

"What is this, George?," Kate reportedly said.
"Err that's erm a…I can't see it yet," he responded.
The young prince later identified it as an Atlas aircraft.
It seems that William also tried to get Queen Camilla involved in the game, but apparently she isn't as clued up as the Wales family.
"It's the wrong answer," he said to the Queen.
She allegedly responded: "Are we playing this still? I need to try harder."
