Queen Camilla reportedly 'snubbed' UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer during the VJ day memorial service earlier today (15 August).
For those who are unfamiliar, the annual ceremony is a national service of remembrance that happens every year in the UK to mark the end of World War II and the anniversary of Japan's surrender to the allied forces.
And today's events at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire mark the 80th anniversary and were attended by King Charles III, Queen Camilla and Starmer, as well as some of the veterans who fought in the war.
The King also delivered a powerful and emotive speech to kick off the day, referencing a speech made by his grandfather King George VI on VJ Day, during the six-minute long declaration.

In the prerecorded audio message, he told not just Britons, but the realms and the Commonwealth: "For the millions of families gathered around their wireless sets, and for their loved ones still serving far from home, it was the message a battle-weary world had long prayed for.
“‘The war is over,' declared my Grandfather, King George VI, in his address to the nation and Commonwealth on VJ Day 80 years ago today – four short words after six long years of bloodshed, fear and suffering.
“Seldom can a simple message have resonated with such a potent mix of relief, celebration, and sorrow for those who never lived to see the glow of freedom’s new dawn.

“On this day of profound remembrance, I speak to you in that same spirit of commemoration and celebration as we honour anew all those whose service and sacrifice saw the forces of liberty prevail.”
He also referenced current conflicts as he added: “Innocent civilian populations of occupied territories faced grievous hardships, too.
“Their experience reminds us that war’s true cost extends beyond battlefields, touching every aspect of life – a tragedy all-too vividly demonstrated by conflicts around the world today.”
Guests of honour at the ceremony were 33 veterans aged from 96 to 105, who served during the time.

And a national two-minute silence was held at noon as the Red Arrows joined historic Spitfire and Hurricane aircraft for flypast over the commemorations.
However, as all of this was going on, one royal family fan who was watching along on the BBC livestream, picked up on an awkward moment between Queen Camilla and the UK Prime Minister.
As Camilla walked over to Starmer and his wife Victoria, the politician stood up as if to go for a kiss and greet the Queen.

However, she seemed to ignore him and instead went straight over to his wife, who was seated next to him.
The viewer who picked up on the alleged moment wrote on Twitter: "Camilla snubs Keir Starmer as he stands up to offer her a kiss. Walks straight past him and kisses his wife. Marvellous. #VJDay #vjday2025."
He added a slew of pictures to the social media post which showed the moment unfolding. Awkward!
Elsewhere, both Camilla and the King were spotted looking emotional as they spoke with the veterans who were in attendance.
