Elon Musk’s son X Æ A-12 became the centre of attention during his visit to the White House this week, with a particular focus on one of the things he told the President.

The four-year-old, who goes by X for short, seemed to be quite the distraction during the important meeting at the Oval Office, as he pulled a number of faces, climbed all over his dad and even appeared to wipe his bogies on the Resolute desk.

This came as the 53-year-old SpaceX founder and Trump, 78, answered a number of questions as the latter signed an executive order requiring federal agencies to cooperate with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in its efforts to cut costs after facing pushback.

The internet has been trying to work out everything little X said to Trump during the meeting, with some people speculating he told the president, “I want you to shut your mouth up.”

Meanwhile, other viewers also heard the little boy tell the US president: “You are not the president, you need to go away.”

One viral post on Musk’s social media platform X theorised the reason behind little X’s statements.

The post, which has accumulated 44,000 likes at the time of writing, includes a short clip of the four-year-old reportedly telling Trump, “I want you to shush your mouth.”

An X user quoted the video and suggested: “I think the right way to read this kind of behaviour is this is what he heard from his dad.”

This is obviously a very bold claim considering the fact Trump and Musk are BFFs, but X user @isaiah_bb seemingly started a conversation in which dozens of fellow social media agreed with this sentiment.

“Kids are innocent, they mostly pick up the things which are spoken in their presence,” one person responded. “Definitely he heard someone saying that.”

Another user wrote: “You learn from your environment.”

While someone else said: “Kids are parrots. They will repeat the things they hear.”

Other responders suggested lil X was speaking to a member of the press in the Oval room instead of the president.

“I don’t think he was even talking to Trump. He was talking to whoever was on his left side,” a spectator suggested.

Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, has since spoken out after her son’s Oval Office cameo became a hot topic online.

She took to Musk’s platform X to issue a statement on the matter.

Writing in response to another user, she said: "He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh."
