Elon Musk is back at it on Twitter, but this time he seems to have doubled down on the wild claims he made about President Donald Trump and the late Jeffrey Epstein.
In a joint investigation, the FBI and US Justice Department finally released the CCTV footage from the convicted child sex offender's prison cell from the day of his death back in August 2019.
Despite mass conspiracy theories and speculation online, the FBI has made a number of conclusions about the case, namely sharing a crucial update on Epstein's 'client list', adding that Epstein was not murdered during his 36-day stay at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.
The investigation also found no evidence that Epstein 'blackmailed prominent individuals', according to the two-page memo.

However, that's not stopped the Trump administration, and District Attorney Pam Bondi in particular, getting slammed by many - including former DOGE head, Elon Musk - for 'lying' about Epstein's 'client list'.

Responding to the news, 53-year-old Musk shared a popular meme format which sees a man getting ready in clown make-up and attire with four separate statements corresponding to the four different stages of the clown's getting ready process.
They read as follow: "WE WILL RELEASE THE EPSTEIN LIST.

"WE JUST NEED MORE TIME.
"THE EPSTEIN LIST IS ON MY DESK.
"THERE IS NO EPSTEIN LIST."
He captioned the meme with an angry swearing face emoji.

Another account, quote-tweeted: "What happened to 'the client list is on my desk?'
"What happened to 'the Epstein files part 2?'
"What happened to those magical binders.

"What a farce."
Musk then quote-tweeted that post, adding: "This is the final straw."
While it's not immediately clear what exactly Musk means by this being the 'final straw', he has made his views on the matter very public.

In another tweet, Musk penned 'Anytime now' under an interview of Trump from last year saying that he will release the Epstein client list if elected.
Musk also lamented 'Man, this is heavy' under a post about Bondi previously claiming the 'client list' was on her desk despite the FBI later confirming there was no such thing.
And his final tweet was replying to an image of a bunch of files being 'hung' in a storage room filled with filing boxes.
"Epstein List Hangs Itself Moments Before Release," it was charmingly captioned, prompting Musk to comment under it: "Can’t believe that conspiracy theorists will claim the list didn’t hang it itself [eye rolling emoji]."
Trump previously claimed his administration would release the Epstein files to the public and, during what is being dubbed their 'break-up', former DOGE spearhead Musk claimed that the 79-year-old Republican was in the Epstein files himself, alleging that was 'the real reason they have not been made public'.

"Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public," he wrote online. "Have a nice day, DJT!"
Musk then told people that 'the truth will come out' before deleting the social media post and later saying he went 'too far' with some of his tweets.
Trump being named in these files does not implicate wrongdoing, it must be noted.
AXIOS reports that the FBI's latest findings represent the first time Trump's administration has 'officially contradicted conspiracy theories about Epstein's activities and his death - theories that had been pushed by the FBI's top two officials before Trump appointed them to the bureau'.
