People have been saying the same thing after President Donald Trump made an 'error' while speaking at the White House earlier this week.
During an Oval Office ceremony on Monday (August 25), the President signed off two executive orders.
The first focused on cashless bail, instructing Washington and other areas to end their cashless bail policies, which allow people to be bailed without paying sums of money.
“That was when the big crime in this country started,” Trump told reporters. “Somebody kills somebody, they go in, ‘Don’t worry about it—no cash, come back in a couple of months, we’ll give you a trial,’ you never see the person again.

“We’re starting by ending it in D.C., and that we have the right to do through federalization."
Meanwhile, a second order saw Trump task his secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth, with creating 'specialised units' within the National Guard that are 'trained and equipped to deal with public order issues'.

Earlier this month, 800 National Guard members were deployed to the capital after Trump ordered federal forces to take over the city’s police department, citing a 'crime emergency'.

It was during the ceremony that Trump seemingly referred to Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer as 'Kristi Whitmer'.
While talking about National Guard troops yesterday, Trump said: "Look, Chicago, everybody knows how bad it is... they should be saying please come in. Pritzker should be saying that. I did a favour for Kristi ― for Kristi Whitmer. A good favour I think, with the China Carp."
People believe that Trump confused Gretchen Whitmer and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Following the mishap, many people pointed to similar mistakes made by former POTUS Joe Biden and comments Trump had voiced as a result of his predecessor's mistakes.
One person wrote: "Biden's gaffes get scrutinized while Trump's cognitive slips get brushed under the rug."
While another said: "Imagine if #Biden kept f**king up peoples’ names. #MAGA would be all over that s**t."
And a third added: "Biden has a legit speech issue - Stuttering. He did stumble over words but the points he made and put across made actual sense."

Last year, Trump wrote about Biden and his capabilities as President of the US.
“All those around him, including his Doctor and the Media, knew that he wasn’t capable of being President, and he wasn’t,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
