Donald Trump Jr has been asked to 'show some class' after his 'indecent' posts regarding Joe Biden's prostate cancer diagnosis.

It was announced just yesterday (18 May) that former United States president Joe Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

A statement released by his office said that the 82-year-old Democrat, who left the White House in January, had an 'aggressive form of cancer'.

It reads: "Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterised by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone."

The statement continues: "While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management.

"The president and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians."

Biden released an emotional statement of his own earlier today, penning online: "Cancer touches us all. Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places.

"Thank you for lifting us up with love and support."

And while well wishes have even sent in from around the world, Donald Trump Jr has not been so considerate.

While his initial response was a reply to an X post which said: "Joe Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Politics aside, we wish him a speedy recovery!" with 'Agreed 100%'.

He then doubled down, and posted a statement which people have branded 'indecent'.

Trump Jr posted: "What I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup???"

The 47-year-old then returned to platform, and added in a second post: "Joe says he had cancer 2 years ago & everyone said it’s a gaffe. When he clearly had dementia, everyone said he’s lucid. Now that he’s no longer useful they’re all shocked that they missed it."

But he didn't stop there.

"Everyone was in on the cover-up," he added "Who was running the country? We need accountability!"

Furious users took to the post, as one said: "An old man has cancer you freak, grow up and move on. You have all the money and power in the world."

As another reminded him: "Your dad is the president now, just let it go man."

One person informed him that his previous bout with the disease was skin cancer, as another said: "Show some class dude. You’re gonna lose a lot of support."

"You're a disgrace," another noted, while one agreed: "Tasteless post."

Responding to the sad news, Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social: "Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis.

"We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery."
