People have accused Donald Trump of using AI during his video address following Charlie Kirk's death.
Kirk was the CEO and co-founder of the conservative youth organisation Turning Point USA, and tragically died yesterday (10 September) at the age of 31 after being shot at a student debate event at a Utah college.
Kirk was at Utah Valley University when a single shot rang out above the 3,000-person crowd, hitting the political activist in the neck.

He was rushed to hospital, before being confirmed as having died when the POTUS took to social media.
The killer is currently at large, though the FBI have confirmed a gun was found which could have been the weapon used to target Kirk.

Moments after the shooting, the Utah Governor Spencer Cox called the killing a 'political assassination', while Trump blamed the ‘radical left’ for his death.

Today, the US president issued a lengthy video message where he called Kirk’s death a 'dark moment for America'.
However, all people can talk about is that they think he used AI in the video.
Particularly because of a moment with his hands and what appears to be a glitch which affects his mouth around the 18 second mark.
During the video, the Republican leader spoke at length of Kirk, his life, and who he blames for his killing.

Regarding the hand issue, some say it appears that his hands blur, or melt together when they jump off the table.
At the same time, his mouth spasms, and it almost looks like the whole video jolts.
One person claimed it also can be seen at the 230 second mark too.
Another simply asked: "Is this AI?"
Someone else said: “Why is this video AI??”

However, one person says this is simply an editing glitch, and not the use of AI.
They wrote: “It looks like an Adobe Premiere ‘morph cut’ which tries to blend a cut in a clip by generating a few frames in between. The results don't always look smooth.”
During the video, Trump paid tribute to the man, whom he was close with.
He said: "Charlie inspired millions and tonight all who knew him and loved him are united in shock and horror.

"Charlie was a patriot who devoted his life to the cause of open debate and the country that he loved so much, the United States of America.

"He fought for liberty, democracy, justice and the American people. He's a martyr for truth and freedom and there's never been anyone who was so respected by youth.
"Charlie was also a man of deep, deep faith and we take comfort in the knowledge that he is now at peace with God in heaven."
Trump said his prayers are with Kirk's wife, their two children, and his family.
He said: "We ask God to watch over them in this terrible hour of heartache and pain. This a dark moment for America.
"Charlie Kirk travelled the nation, joyfully engaging with everyone in good faith, debate.
"His mission was to bring young people into the political process which he did better than anybody ever, to share his love of country and to spread the simple words of common sense.
"On campuses nationwide he championed his ideas with courage, logic, humour and grace."
