United States President Donald Trump has sparked quite the heated discussion online after people spotted an 'unprofessional' detail during his recent Cabinet meeting.

The 79-year-old Republican, who frequently uses perjorative and many times insulting nicknames for people he doesn't like or agree with, has seemingly just had a taste of his own medicine after the internet issued him a brand-new moniker following his three-hour meeting on Tuesday (2 December).

During the lengthy meeting, Trump - who is the oldest person to ever be elected president - could be seen sometimes squinting his eyes and at least one time, he actually did fully close them.

Mind you, this came after yet another one of the president's late-night Truth Social posting sprees. In just a few hours, between 7pm and midnight on Monday (1 December), Trump shared more than 160 posts before jumping back on the social media platform once again at 5:48 am on the morning of the meeting.

Following this week's exhausted appearance, people were quick to remember Trump's relentless slamming of his Democrat predecessor, Joe Biden, whom he regularly referred to as 'Sleep Joe'.

"OMG, this is both hilarious and frightening all at the same time..." wrote one critic.

A second piped up: "He keeps falling asleep in the middle of meetings yet media is silent. If Joe Biden did this even once it would be front page EVERYWHERE."

"But, but.., sleepy Joe!! Donnie was up too late rage posting, can't even stay awake through a meeting while role-playing president, sigh..." lamented a third while a fourth chimed in: "Someone needs to take wittle Donnie’s phone away so he can get a proper night’s sleepy weepy!"

A fifth chirped: "Drowsy Don needs to resign," as another echoed: "Sleepy Don strikes again. How unprofessional."

And a final social media user added: "Who’s Sleepy Joe now, you [clown emoji]?"

The White House has since issued a statement to PEOPLE when questioned on Trump's Cabinet meeting conduct.

"President Trump was listening attentively and running the entire three-hour marathon Cabinet meeting," press secretary Karoline Leavitt said.

"Just go back and watch his amazing final answer in the press conference, where he ripped into the America-Last Democrats for allowing radical Somali migrants to invade our country and steal from American taxpayers," she added.

"This epic moment put an exclamation point on President Trump’s ninth Cabinet meeting of his second term—all of which have been entirely open to the press for the whole world to see."

"In all of these historic meetings," she concluded, "the President and his incredible team highlight the exhaustive list of accomplishments they have delivered on behalf of the American people to Make America Great Again."
