Police are currently hunting for thieves who have stolen £1million worth of sex toys from the back of a parked lorry.

The huge haul of adult goods were taken when the cargo was parked on the A43, near Broughton, Northamptonshire.

Detectives suspect that the thieves struck between 1am and 6.30am on September 18th, somehow breaking into the vehicle and seizing the lucrative batch of x-rated stock.

"Might be a hard job getting to the bottom of this one"," one person joked in response to the appeal, while another chimed in: "Won't be the only one not delivering its load".

A third chipped in: "Bet someone's sitting on a clue for this case...."
