Kim Kardashian lookalike Christina Asheten Gourkani was reportedly injected by an 'unlicensed' practitioner before her sudden death.

Following the OnlyFans model's unexpected passing last month, her cause of death has since been reported.

New reports now suggest that Gourkani died of a cardiac arrest after someone believed to be an unlicensed practitioner injected her with a substance believed to be silicone.

The family of Christina, who went under the name Ashten G online, confirmed that the model had died in hospital while recovering from a procedure.

"After arriving at the hospital shortly after the phone call our family continued living a nightmare as we were informed that her health and wellbeing had continued to decline in a downward spiral for the worse after suffering from a cardiac arrest," the post had read.

It went on to allege that their were some suspicions surrounding Christina's cardiac arrest and that investigations were underway.

The post informed donors: "Her sudden and tragic passing is currently being investigated as a homicide related to medical procedure that took a turn for the worse.

"For the privacy of Christina Ashten, our family and the investigation no other details will be shared at this time."

Now, a Florida woman has been brought in for questioning by San Mateo County police, according to The Palo Alto Daily Post.

It is reported that Christina had hired the woman to perform a cosmetic procedure on her buttocks, though the woman doesn't have a license to practice.

A statement from DA Steve Wagstaffe, seen by the local outlet, confirmed that the woman had met Christina in a hotel on April 19 and administered 'several injections' of a substance believed to be silicone.

Not long after the incident, Christina started suffering from serious health issues.

According to her family's GoFundMe page, Christina passed away in the early hours of April 20.

While the coroner's office is still investigating the circumstances of Christina's death, police have arrested the woman believed to have been involved in the unlicensed procedure.

She is reportedly set to be charged with both involuntary manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license resulting in great bodily injury when she appears in court next month.

Tyla has reached out to Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office and San Mateo PD for comment.

It is understood that Christina was administered injections from an 'unlicensed' practitioner.

Christina's family has remembered her as 'a caring and loving free spirit that always took the time to bring a smile to anyone's face'.

Their GoFundMe page adds: "She was the kind of person that would kneel down and talk to children at eye level, she searched for the lonely person in the corner and made them feel special as she has such a gift of connecting with people.

"On many occasions I've seen her turn her adversaries into life long friends just after 10 seconds of pouring her charismatic joy, positive energy and her beautiful smile that she gave to those around her."
