Six Zodiac signs most affected by rare 'Blood Moon' this weekend with three looking lucky in love
It’s no secret that August has been a tumultuous month in the world of astrology - we’ve had a total solar eclipse, the Perseid meteor shower, and now a rare partial solar eclipse, aka a ‘Blood Moon’.
As explained by NASA, a partial solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth but the Sun, Moon, and Earth are not perfectly lined up, like we saw in the total eclipse earlier this month, which had everyone rushing to get their fancy sunglasses in time.
This month’s partial solar eclipse will take place in the early hours of Friday (28 August), and see roughly 96 per cent of the Moon’s surface be covered, which will in turn cast a striking reddish-orange shadow, hence the nickname ‘Blood Moon’
And according to astrologist Lisa Stardust’s August horoscopes, six signs in particular will feel the effects of the lunar phenomenon, for better or worse.

Aries, Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Aquarius and Pisces will be most impacted by the partial eclipse - read on to find out how.
Aries
While Lisa explained that August was a romantic month for Aries, this doesn’t come without its challenges.
At the beginning of the month, Venus entered your seventh house of partnerships, ‘re-evoking a former sentiment you may have been feeling for a crush or significant other that has been stagnant during the previous weeks’.
And fortunately, Mercury's entrance into Leo on the 9th ‘supported romanticism, a vibe that heightened from the solar eclipse in Leo on the 12th’.
However, the astrologer explained that the caveat is that ‘you may not know how to step away from your partner on the lunar eclipse in Pisces on August 28 since you are lost in a relationship bubble of your own making’.
So, try not to get too swept up!
Taurus
As for Taurus, August will have seen you be pulled in very different directions, so Lisa explained that it was ‘vital to find the middle ground between your career and home life’.
The solar eclipse on August 12 in Leo offered a chance ‘to deal with personal matters privately,’ which Lisa said was ‘essential’ to do before the lunar eclipse in Pisces on August 28 ‘brings them into the public eye’.
The astrologer urged: “Since you hate to be the topic of discussion, take this advice seriously because August can get messy if you’re not careful. Obviously, you can confide in a select few who you know are trustworthy.”
Virgo
Lisa warned at the beginning of the month that the start of August ‘might’ve stung a little’; however, Virgos soon ‘got their groove back’ when their birthday season commenced on August 22.
She said: “With Mercury moving into your sign on the 25th, you’ll feel as though all the heartbreak from the past few months is far behind you. A new amorous chapter begins during the lunar eclipse in Pisces on August 28, so be open to meeting people who think you’re fabulous and popping!
“The best revenge to get back at your ex is to live well (post pictures on social media to make them salivate).”
Scorpio
The astrologer told Scorpios, meanwhile, that this month was the one to ‘get their hustle on’ as ‘the cosmos supported professional aspirations in taking flight during the total solar eclipse in Leo on August 12’.
And apparently, things are only going to improve when the partial lunar eclipse arrives.
She added: “As you move through the month, you are going to be able to blend creative thinking with your career goals to manifest the vision you want to bring to the public and your boss.
“The good news is that you'll receive the acclamation that you deserve in time for the lunar eclipse in Pisces on the 28th, as long as you share credit with your colleagues.”
Aquarius
Lisa predicted that this month Aries would ‘pledge their devotion to their S.O. in a profound way that promised a bright future on August 12 (or vice versa)’.
But hopefully you didn’t ‘overstep the fine line’ and make them ‘feel as though you’re ready for wedding bells’.
The astrologer explained: “Overpromising will make you think you're in too deep during the lunar eclipse on August 28, which is why it's best to take a chill approach and be light-hearted.”
Pisces
Finally, for Pisces, the tea was piping hot in August - and the partial eclipse might just make you ‘spin’.
Lisa said that while it had been a minute since Pisces heard the recent hot goss in your friend group, they would have got ‘their fill and more when the sun and Mercury shifted into Virgo on August 22 and 25th’.
She added: “Some of what you hear may be shocking and scandalous, making you spin during the lunar eclipse on August 28.
“Even though the rumor mill is churning out lots of surprising information, you’re here for it, Pisces. Hey, messiness is better than any television show you are streaming at the moment, so indulge!”
