Perseid meteor shower could hit these three zodiac signs the hardest this weekend, astrologer reveals

An astrologer has revealed which three zodiac signs will be affected the most by this weekend’s Perseid meteor shower.

Speaking on behalf of CanadaCasino, astrologer Inbaal Honigman exclusively told Tyla: "The Perseid meteor shower is an annual showing of meteors, which are debris and particles from the comet Swift-Tuttle.

"Every summer, a cloud of shooting stars illuminates the sky. In 2026, the meteor shower streaks across our skies from 17th July until 24th August."

Inbaal explains that comets represent 'frozen emotions in astrology', because they are made of ice and gas.

"Memories from the past, personality traits that we no longer feel comfortable with, any issues that we haven't finished dealing with, will rise to the surface during this time," she cautioned.

"The ancients were fearful of comets, and connected them with bad luck, and huge, unexpected changes. They appeared unpredictable, rare and mysterious."

According to the astrologer, the meteor shower which emerges from the comet is similar but more evolved.

"Those meteors which break off the comet can be the start of healing," Inbaal outlines. "As emotions defrost, or repressed feelings release previously locked memories, the Perseid meteor shower can bring hope.

"The Perseid meteor shower is predictable, regular, and therefore more comforting."

Leo

The meteor shower takes place throughout Leo season, which starts on the 22nd July (Tyla)

Up first is Leo, with the expert noting: "The meteor shower takes place throughout Leo season, touching on the tail end of Cancer season too.

"Leo loves to show off, so this meteor shower can add depth and meaning to their public antics."

"Any opportunities which were right for the Leo but presented at the wrong time will now come to light," Inbaal adds.

Virgo

The meteor shower will help Virgo get back on their feet 'double quick' (Tyla)

Second on the rundown is Virgo.

"Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury, which is completing its retrograde course during the first few days of the meteor shower," Inbaal tells Tyla.

"From the 24th, those Virgos will feel like the worst is behind them, and therefore the meteor shower will help them get back on their feet double quick."

She adds that Virgos like to have a plan, and when Mercury enters Leo on 10th August, this pushes Virgo forwards with a 'fiery passion, even more'.

Gemini

The meteor shower will help Gemini resolve certain memories from the past (Tyla)

And last on the list is Gemini.

"Gemini is also ruled by Mercury, which is going retrograde during the very start of the meteor shower," Inbaal says.

Even though the two things aren't linked, the Geminis will feel as if they are, because their impactful retrograde asks them to look at their personal past, while the meteor shower helps them resolve those memories.
