Look, it's always fun learning more about our star signs.

Whether you 'believe' in astrology or not, it's pretty difficult to scroll past your daily horoscope or a rundown of how each zodiac sign is most impacted by whatever dreaded retrograde we find ourselves in at the time.

But such cosmic explainers can be a whole lot more niche than that, with new astrological data now exposing which star sign is the most open to receiving NSFW photos. But, as always, take the data with a heavy pinch of salt, it's just a bit of fun, after all.

We're all different when it comes to our stance on taking and sending nudes and, of course, we should all know by now the etiquette and consent surrounding the digital sexting - AKA do not send someone an unsolicited d*ck pic.

However, with that said, it's still interesting to find out correlations between different star signs and certain NSFW behaviour.

Now, gay dating app Grindr analysed public profile data - which cross referenced users that share their zodiac signs on their profiles against their public dating and sexual preferences - from its 15 million global monthly users and, apparently, the stars might actually have something to do with how people date and connect.

Grindr was able to find some very fascinating astrological patterns on the subject of dating with some standout findings.

According to the data, Gemini users are the most open to receiving NSFW photos, most likely to tag themselves as 'nerds' and to be looking for friends.

Again, just because Grindr's data says this, doesn't necessarily mean you send raunchy snaps to every Gemini you know in the hopes they'll be receptive!

Meanwhile, Aquarius users are the signs most likely to be looking for a hookup while, contrastingly, Pisces is the zodiac sign most interested in monogamy and the most frequent users of the Trip Plan feature.

Aries have 'anime' as the most common unique tag/interest while Libras use the 'karaoke' tag the most.

Additionally, Scorpios are the most likely to show a strong interest in piercings while Taurus users seem to be fairly open as they are most likely to have a profile photo and share their location in chat.

And, lastly, Virgo, Gemini, and Pisces lead in pansexual self-expression, however Virgos can also be a bit more reserved when it comes to sharing and receiving photos, along with Cancers.

As you can see, Leo, Sagittarius and Capricorn didn't make it onto Grindr's rundown.

We were keen to find out a little more about the data with Zachary Zane, Grindr’s sex and relationship expert, telling Tyla: "Geminis are known for being curious, open-minded, and adaptable – so it makes total sense they'd be the most open to receiving NSFW photos. "They're the sign that's always down to explore and try new things, and that extends to how they express themselves sexually and they're not going to shy away from a spicy pic!"

Zane also shares why Virgos and Cancers are less likely to get involved with NSFW photos, telling Tyla: "These signs are perceived to be more cautious and private, especially early on. They might need a bit more trust and emotional connection before they're comfortable with that level of intimacy.

"What this data really shows is that there's no one-size-fits-all approach to self-expression and boundaries on dating apps. Everyone's different, and that's okay! Some people are super open from the get-go, while others prefer to take things slow.

"The key is communication and consent – being clear about what you're comfortable with and respecting what others are comfortable with too."
