For as long as we've had the internet and search engines (remember Ask Jeeves?), we've been asking anything and everything, and now 2025's most-searched sex-related queries have been unveiled.
It makes for a pretty anxious picture as far as our collective mental state this year.
It's always been a joke about 'Dr Google', with people searching for reasons why they've got a headache and inevitably being told it's something terminal.
Perhaps it's fear, shame, or embarrassment, but many people feel more comfortable asking the likes of Google and ChatGPT about the most intimate parts of their lives - including sex.

Not everybody feels like they can ask friends or family such a personal query.
Here are the most-asked sex questions for 2025.

'Why do I bleed during sex?'
Undoubtedly an alarming experience for anyone who has this, the top searched request is asking about bleeding after intimacy.

It can be a big concern to see blood after sex, and understandably this has driven people to search it.
This can be caused by any number of reasons, and while it isn't normally serious and can just be caused by being overzealous or friction, the NHS recommends you get checked by a doctor just to be on the safe side to rule out anything dodgy.
'Where is a woman's g spot?'
This is actually quite heart-warming, as wanting to please your partner can only be a good thing.

The nation is definitely wanting to know more about pleasure, and nobody wants to be found lacking in the bedroom department, but everyone starts somewhere.
It's not your average pub chat, but is nothing to be ashamed of.
To save you a Google, the g-spot is found roughly around two to three inches inside the vagina.

'What is gooning?'
Language is an ever changing thing, and 'gooning' is a new slang phrase which has been gathering steam over the last year or two.

Usually referring to male masturbation habits, it's essentially a new phrase for the practice of 'edging', where they bring themselves to the brink of orgasm, stop, and start again.
Now you now.
'How often do married couples have sex?'
Comparison is the thief of joy, and it seems many people are feeling worried about how much time they're spending between the sheets.

It brings a whole new meaning to 'keeping up with the neighbours', as everyone truly is different.
It depends on age, and the individual relationship, and as long as you're happy with the amount whether it's a little or a lot, is what matters.
Psychologist Simon Sherry estimates 'Americans in their 20s have sex around 80 times per year', however 'that number drops to 20 times per year for those in their 60s.'
He also says that married people are having more sex than their non-married counterparts.

'When can you have sex after a c section?'
Last on the list is to do with resuming intimacy after childbirth.
Many people turn to Google to find out how long they should wait after having a caesarean section.
It's a huge surgical procedure, and so the NHS advises you should 'only start to do these things again when you feel able to do so and do not find them uncomfortable.'
At the very earliest, they estimate this to be after around six weeks following surgery.
Like the first question on the list, the golden rule is to seek advice and to ask your midwife or medical team for a concrete answer to be on the safe side.
