Pregnant woman shows how soft her belly is and people are shocked

People are in complete disbelief over the woman's baby bump

One pregnant woman has shown just how soft her baby bump is and the internet have since been left reeling in utter disbelief.

The expectant mum recorded herself touching and poking her bump in a demonstration to prove to people that pregnant bellies aren't always hard.

It's fair to say that jaws most definitely dropped to the floor after watching the incredible bodily phenomenon. Check it out:

The woman, Ally (@allyandace), took to TikTok to share the revelation to her 54,000 followers.

In the short clip, Ally can be seen rubbing her belly gently just before she pushed her fingers all the way into the upper portion of her bump.

Ally was responding to a comment left on a previous video which read: "I thought when you're pregnant the belly was hard."

She captioned her video reply with: "My belly at 34 weeks with my baby boy Teddy."

"It is hard," she wrote over the footage, "it's just because my belly dropped and he's really low."

In case you aren't familiar with what it means when a belly drops, it's 'a sign that a baby is nearly ready to be born', according to Medical News Today.

"Before dropping, the baby may rotate, so the back of its head is toward the front of the tummy, head facing down," the site explains.

"It's just because my belly dropped."

After this, the baby 'may drop down into the pelvis'.

Viewers, however, had no idea what was going on with Ally's video going on to amass more than 6.8 million views.

Thousands of baffled TikTokers rushed to the comment section to share their reaction to the incredible clip.

Many had a whole load of questions for the expectant mother with one TikTok user asking: "Why and how did it drop?"

"Does this affect the birth process?" wrote a second, while a third wondered: "Can you lift it up?"

Others, however, couldn't help but share Ally's pain after watching the shocking video.

One person sympathised: "Oh mama your poor back."

"I felt the back pain with my entire soul," chimed in another.

A third added: "Ugh that looks so painful," to which Ally confirmed: "Yes, my back and bladder are crushed."

"When she poked the top my jaw dropped."

And it's clear that Ally's belly wasn't the only thing in this situation that dropped.

"When she poked the top my jaw dropped," admitted one clearly concerned TikTok user.

A second echoed: "My jaw dropped - no it really did."

A few weren't too shocked by the reveal but were, instead, pretty curious at the bodily function.

"That's so cool," praised on TikTok user.

"Wow," commented a final viewer, "pregnancy is so weird and beautiful at the same time.

"Hard to wrap my head around there's a real baby in there."

Well, you better believe it.
