A Netflix thriller has left viewers so terrified that they’re being forced to turn it off after just two minutes.

Directed by The Blind Side’s John Lee Hancock, the crime thriller boasts a HUGE ensemble cast including the likes of Denzel Washington, Rami Malek, and Jared Leto.

Set in the 1990s, it follows a county sheriff as he’s shipped off to the big city to try and get to the bottom of a killing spree.

A synopsis for the movie reads: "Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe ‘Deke’ Deacon (Washington) is sent to Los Angeles for what should have been a quick evidence-gathering assignment.

“Instead, he becomes embroiled in the search for a killer who is terrorizing the city.

“Leading the hunt, L.A. Sheriff Department Sergeant Jim Baxter (Malek), impressed with Deke’s cop instincts, unofficially engages his help.

“But as they track the killer, Baxter is unaware that the investigation is dredging up echoes of Deke’s past, uncovering disturbing secrets that could threaten more than his case.”

The film is now on Netflix.

Originally released theatrically back in 2020, The Little Things has now landed on Netflix – and is already freaking out a new wave of viewers, many of whom have admitted to not lasting too long.

"Watching The Little Things on Netflix and the first 2 minutes are so scary I’m not sure I can continue," one person said.

Someone else added: "2min 52 sec into Netflix the little things & it’s made me so anxious I’ve had to turn it off."

Those who managed to make it to the end, however, were full of praise for the flick.

One fan said: "The Little Things on Netflix... WOW, what a movie. Proper old school, Denzil [sic] Washington at his best.”

Another wrote: "Watched The Little Things on Netflix with my sister and it was So Good!!!"

It also stars Jared Leto.

Commenting on the trailer on YouTube a couple of years back, one viewer also noted Leto’s incredible performance.

They explained: “Leto is amazing in this. We’ve seen lots of creeps in the movies but he created someone original here. His walk, his gaze, his speech...very strange, at times humorous and altogether chilling.”

The cast also features Natalie Morales (Battle of the Sexes), Terry Kinney (Mile 22, Billions), Chris Bauer (Sully, The Deuce), Joris Jarsky (Bad Blood), Isabel Arraiza (Pearson) and Michael Hyatt (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend).

Watch The Little Things on Netflix now.
