Things got a little steamy for Margot Robbie while filming her upcoming romance film with Jacob Elordi.
The Emerald Fennell-directed adaptation of "Wuthering Heights" stars the two Aussie actors as Catherine 'Cathy' Earnshaw and Heathcliff, respectively.
Alongside Robbie and Elordi, The Menu's Hong Chau, House of the Dragon's Ewan Mitchell, and Adolescence's Owen Cooper all guest star.
While most were expecting a direct adaptation of Emily Brönte's classic novel of the same name, the film's trailer proved to be something a little bit different.

Fennell opened up on her 'primal, sexual' version of the story, adding: "It’s an emotional response to something."
However, the Barbie star, who is also a producer on the film, has told British Vogue that the audience will be surprised by it, though not in the way they might think.

She said: "Everyone's expecting this to be very, very raunchy. I think people will be surprised. Not to say there aren't sexual elements and that it's not provocative – it definitely is provocative – but it's more romantic than provocative. This is a big epic romance."

However, while it might not be the X-rated film many are expecting, there are still a few moments that are meant to make the audience swoon, with Margot even being swept off her feet while filming one particular scene.
This scene sees Margot being picked up by Elodri 'with only one arm', an exchange which the Wolf of Wall Street star said left her almost 'weak at the knees'.
"It was the little things that we loved as two women in our 30s, and this movie is primarily for people in our demographic. These epic romances and period pieces aren’t often made by women," she said.
But this was something that Margot said she and Fennell discussed on set: "What reads to us as hot or exciting or sexy?"

She added that we have been deprived of a huge, sweeping romance on the big screen for quite some time: "It's just been so long since we've had one – maybe The Notebook, also The English Patient. You have to go back decades.

"It's that feeling when your chest swells or it's like someone's punched you in the guts and the air leaves your body. That's a signature of Emerald's. Whether it's titillating or repulsion, her superpower is eliciting a physical response."
She also opened up on returning to work after welcoming her son with husband Tom Ackerley in October 2024, adding: "I was three months postpartum when we started shooting. So I was in a very different headspace. I didn't do my usual routine. It was more haphazard...

"And I remember saying to Emerald, 'What if I'm not prepared enough?' She kept saying, 'I don't want you to prepare. I just need you to be in the moment."
"Which was a lovely way of relieving my anxiety. It was about being in my body as opposed to my head."
"Wuthering Heights" comes out on Valentine's Day, so get ready to swoon.
