Florence Pugh once opened up about a mortifying incident which happened whilst she was filming an X-rated scene in Oppenheimer alongside her co-star, Cillian Murphy.
The Midsommar actress, 30, stars as Jean Tatlock in Christopher Nolan's 2023 box-office smash it while Murphy, 50, played her ex-fiancé, J. Robert Oppenheimer - AKA the 'father of the atomic bomb'.
In the film, Tatlock was in a relationship and later embarked on a steamy affair with Oppenheimer during his marriage to Emily Blunt’s Kitty Oppenheimer, and let's just say it didn't exactly run smoothly behind the scenes.
Unfortunately for the A-listers, there was a technical malfunction with the camera, prompting a pretty awkward moment.

"In the middle of our sex scene, the camera broke. No one knows this, but it did," the Marvel star revealed during a Universal Q&A for the film.
"Our camera broke when we were both naked, and it was not ideal timing, and there weren't many cameras," she continued.
"So Cillian and I are in this room together, and it's a closed set, so we're both holding our bodies."
Like the professional she is, Pugh decided to make the best of a far-from-ideal situation.
"This camera surgeon comes into the room and starts, and I'm like, 'Well, this is my moment to learn'," she added, joking that she asked the crew member: "So, tell me, what's wrong with this camera?"
"You just make your moments. I’m like, 'What’s going on with the shutter here, buddy?'" the actress recalled.
She later explained how director Nolan explained that there was then an issue with the lighting of the room during the scene.
"It was just crazy that every person on this set was so knowledgeable and was so ready to make this kind of a movie that there was no dull moment," Pugh gushed.
"It was all amazing. It felt like we were lucky to be there every second of the day."
In a separate interview, Pugh opened up about what it was like when Nolan offered her the role.
"I didn’t really know what was going on or what it was that was being made," Pugh told MTV UK.
"Except I knew that Chris [Nolan] really, really wanted me to know that it wasn’t a very big role, and he understands if I don’t want to come near it. And I was like, 'Doesn’t matter. Even if I’m a coffee maker at a café in the back of the room, let’s do it.'"
Speaking of Nolan, she shared: "I remember he apologised about the size of the role. I was like, 'Please don’t apologise'.
"And then he said, 'We’ll send you the script, and honestly, you just read it and decide if it’s like… I completely understand the sizing thing.' And I remember that evening when I got the script being like, 'I don’t need to… I know I’m going to do it.'"
