Kaley Cuoco announces birth of daughter Philomena with fiancé Tom Pelphrey

Actress Kaley Cuoco took to social media on Wednesday to announce the birth of her second daughter.

Actor fiancé Tom Pelphrey, 44, and the Based on a True Story star, 40, welcomed their baby daughter Philomena Carmine Bobby in an Instagram post, reports PEOPLE.

Images from the hospital bed showed a beaming Cuoco, happy Pelphrey and sleepy Philomena all looking well.

“🎀Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey🎀. 💖10/12/26💖,” Cuoco wrote in the caption.

“There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing.

“We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo!” she said.

“Family officially complete 😭Time to bring Matilda’s baby home! 😂💕 @tommypelphrey life exploded the minute we met, and the gifts keep coming. I love you forever , girl daddy! 💘.”

The actress also shared photos of Philomena via Instagram Stories, with the caption, ‘She’s here!” alongside two videos of her new baby girl resting under a blanket.

The couple’s older daughter Matilda, 3, was snapped smiling in another photo in Cuoco’s Stories. She was sporting a yellow T-shirt with ‘Big sister’ written on it and the caption ‘Someone waiting at home for us!’

The star of The Flight Attendant used Instagram previously to announce her second pregnancy, alongside family photos.

She wrote at the time: “💖 completing our little family, what a dream come true ! 💖,” she began her caption. “This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways, but wow we are so grateful for this moment!! Little sissy on the way!!!”

“@tommypelphrey girl dad for life 🎀 and yes, the last pic is our dainty princess giving us the middle finger!🤦🏼‍♀️😆,” she added.

In September, Pelphey said in an interview with E! News during the Emmy Awards straight after his Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series win for his role in Task: “We’re both so excited. Our daughter’s excited. We’ll see how it goes when it actually gets there,” said Pelphrey.

He added that he and Cuoco are currently ‘switching rooms, swapping things around, and laughing at how different it is from one to two.’

Cuoco and Pelphrey became engaged in August 2024, more than a year after Matilda was born in March 2023.

The actress explained to PEOPLE at the time that she and her family were very happy and did not feel the urge to rush into anything, despite the questions she was posed by excited well-wishers.

“The minute I had my baby, they’re like, ‘When’s your second one?’ I’m like, ‘Oh my God, is anyone gonna just let me just enjoy this?’” said Cuoco.
