Kaley Cuoco shares sweet update on newborn daughter one week after giving birth
Kayley Cuoco has shared an adorable one-week update after welcoming her daughter.
Last week, The Big Bang Theory actress, 40, and her fiancé Tom Pelphrey, 44, announced they welcomed their baby daughter Philomena Carmine Bobby in an Instagram post, reports PEOPLE.
Images from the hospital bed showed a Cuoco and Pelphrey with the newest addition to their family, who was born on 12th October.
A week later, Cuoco shared more snaps of her holding Philomena in the family’s home. The youngster wore a tiny pink onesie and socks while another image showed Philomena’s three-year-old big sister cuddling her.

“One week old over here,” Cuoco wrote alongside the post.
In September, Pelphey said in an interview with E! News during the Emmy Awards straight after his Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series win for his role in Task: “We’re both so excited. Our daughter’s excited. We’ll see how it goes when it actually gets there,” said Pelphrey.
He added that he and Cuoco are were ‘switching rooms, swapping things around, and laughing at how different it is from one to two’ at the time.
Cuoco and Pelphrey became engaged in August 2024, more than a year after Matilda was born in March 2023.
The mum-of-two announced Philomena’s name and birth last week on Instagram along with a carousel of snaps. “There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing,” she wrote in the caption. “We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo! Family officially complete. Time to bring Matilda’s baby home! @tommypelphrey life exploded the minute we met, and the gifts keep coming. I love you forever, girl daddy.”
Fans as well as celebrity pals shared well wishes in the comments. Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Melissa Fumero gushed “Congrats Mama!!!”
Twilight alum Taylor Lautner, who recently welcomed his first child with wife Taylor Lautner, said “Congrats!!!!!!!”
Fellow Big Bang Theory star Melissa Rauch wrote: “Welcome to the world beautiful Philomena!!! The biggest congratulations and so much love to you!!”

The Flight Attendant actress first announced she was expecting her second child on Instagram in June, sharing a carousel of family photos and revealing that she and her would be welcoming another girl. Cuoco described expanding their family as ‘completing our little family’ and ‘a dream come true.’
She also reflected on her journey to becoming pregnant for the second time, admitting that the experience had been ‘a little windier’ in many ways. Ending her announcement, she wrote, “Little sissy on the way!!!” and affectionately referred to her partner, Tom Pelphrey, as a ‘girl dad for life.’
Philomena's middle names are particularly significant for the couple. Carmine is also the middle name of Cuco's father, real estate broker Gary Carmine Cuoco. Her elder daughter shares the same middle name; her full name is Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey.
Meanwhile, a source told People that 'Bobby' is 'a nod to Tom’s side of the family'.
They added: "They love classic, vintage names, so Philo was the perfect choice for them."
