Stanley Tucci has some seriously famous pals, of course, but some people were shocked to realise his family is pretty well-known too.
Regal Union Square got two surprise guests on Tuesday (23 September), when Tucci and John Kransinski visited the cinema. The Hunger Games and The Office stars were pictured with their popcorn and drinks in hand before they sat down to watch One Battle After Another, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
The cinema in New York wrote on their Instagram post: "You never know who’s stopping by Union Square! Thanks for joining us @johnkrasinski and @stanleytucci."
However, over on Reddit, people were baffled after learning that Tucci and Kransinski are more than just friends; they are actually related.

A post of the two referred to them as 'brother-in-laws', which left social media users wondering about their family dynamic.
One user asked: "Who is the common denominator here? Stanley is Emily’s brother? Or is he married to John’s sister?"
This led a ton of commenters to clarify the situation, as many mentioned that Tucci and Kransinski are married to Felicity and Emily Blunt, who are sisters, respectively.

Emily Blunt starred alongside Tucci in the iconic 2006 film, The Devil Wears Prada, with the two actors becoming friends.
The Oppenheimer star eventually met Kransinski in 2008 at a restaurant, where the two were introduced to each other by a mutual friend.
After meeting Blunt, the A Quiet Place star said he was 'so nervous', telling Ellen DeGeneres on her show in 2011: "I was like, 'Oh god, I think I'm going to fall in love with her. It's one of those things where as soon as you meet someone, you kind of know."
The pair eventually tied the knot in 2010, and Tucci was invited to the wedding ceremony, where he met Blunt's sister, Felicity - though this wasn't the first time they'd been introduced, as they'd previously met at the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada.

At the time, the Big Night star was married to his first wife, Kate, who was also at the premiere. He told Marc Maron in 2021 that the two women had chatted that night, adding: "I have a photo of them together, which is so odd."
Kate passed away in 2009 due to breast cancer.
After crossing paths with Felicity at Emily and John's wedding, they started dating shortly afterwards.

The pair eventually got married in 2012, and have two children together, a son and a daughter. Tucci also has three children, two daughters and a son, from his marriage to Kate.
The actor and the literary agent have a 21-year age gap, something which Tucci struggled with early on in their relationship.
He told BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs in 2023: "I was afraid to get into a relationship, and I kept trying to break it off.
"I'm 21 years older than she is, and I didn't want to feel old for the rest of my life! But I knew that this was an incredibly special person."

However, the Blunt family is all for having the Lovely Bones star in their family, as Emily said to PEOPLE in 2022: "He's an all-around Renaissance man who knows the way to everyone's hearts. And it's through having a damn good time.
"He's frighteningly bright, quick to laugh, loves to be laughed at, charismatic, warm and energetic."
