We're officially at the very peak of Spooky Season, with many Halloween lovers out there no doubt buzzing to celebrate the occasion tonight (31 October).
While most people will be out trick-or-treating, attending weird and wonderful costume parties and rocking up to haunted houses - it's for certain that a fair few others will be taking the opportunity to have a movie marathon of all five films from the cult-classic Twilight franchise.
Twilight, which stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as Edward Cullen, Bella Swan and Jacob Black, is the perfect treat if you're after a heavy dose of 2010s nostalgia and a cosy autumnal feeling to pair.
But, despite the ever-loyal fanbase, one of the most-talked about moments of the entire franchise centres all around the character of Renesmee - the vampire/human hybrid daughter of Edward and Bella.

In short, the drama surrounding Renesmee in Twilight stems from both her unusual storyline and fan reactions.
Introduced in Breaking Dawn as Bella and Edward’s half-human, half-vampire daughter, audiences watch on as she grows at an unnatural speed.
However, the main source of drama is Jacob 'imprinting' on her - something which members of the fanbase will know is a supernatural bond portrayed as fated love or protection - which many fans found unsettling given that she’s a newborn.

The movie adaptation amplified the controversy with its notoriously uncanny CGI baby, turning Renesmee into a symbol of the series' most bizarre and divisive creative choices.
Now, it was Mackenzie Foy who starred as Renesmee in Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 and she was either nine or 10 years old at the time.
And now, flash-forward about a decade, and she's all grown up!

Now 24, she's just done a photoshoot with Teen Vogue in her on-screen mother Bella Swan's house, and fans were left seriously shocked after seeing what she looks like now.
After catching light of the latest snaps, Twilight fans couldn't help but rush to social media to share their astonishment.

One Instagram user gushed: "She really does look like Bella and Edward's kid wow, perfect casting there!"

A second praised: "It’s amazing how good the CGI was in the movie when it showed you as an adult. They got it spot on!"
"Why is no one talking about how the CGI of her all grown up in Alice’s vision is almost accurate?!" hyped a third - while a fourth echoed: "Ok but the aged up version of her from the movie was spot on, that’s insane."
A fifth chimed in: "How strange that she's a perfect combination of the two, even though she's not related to either of them!"

"I was just wondering what Resume was up to!" joked another.
And a final Instagram user pleaded: "A movie in the same world years later starring just her I BEG."
Well, I guess we'll simply have to wait and see.
