Millie Bobby Brown's new movie landed on Netflix last week (8 March) and it's been getting a whole lot of buzz online from viewers absolutely loving it.

The action-packed drama sees the likes of Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, and Nick Robinson join the Stranger Things star in the fantasy story which totally flips the script on the traditional fairy tale with a princess whose happily ever after relies on some guy.

And, since watching the film, Netflix viewers have all been coming to the very same conclusion about the ending.

Now, you've been warned, spoilers are coming up.

So, the movie - titled Damsel - sees Millie as a dutiful damsel named Elodie who agrees to marry a handsome prince - only to discover it was all a trap.

The royal family had actually recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt due to a previous incident which saw a fire-breathing dragon's children killed.

She’s then thrown into a cave with the mighty beast, where she has to rely solely on her wits and will to survive.

And she does exactly that, however, Elodie's sister, Floria, is sadly captured instead.

Elodie then returns back to the dragon's lair to save her sis before going head-to-head with the dragon, attempting to explain that they had both been wronged by the royal family.

She then leaves the cave and makes her way over to the castle interrupting Prince Henry's wedding to another woman.

The Queen asks her if they should be scared of her to which she iconically responds: "It's not me you should fear."

Then, just seconds later, the dragon rocks up to the castle and kills the royals as well as the other wedding guests.

The dragon, once a foe, becomes Elodi's ally and she reunites with Floria to safely leave the castle in one piece.

Viewers have been absolutely loving the movie.

Viewers have clearly been loving the ending, with many comparing it to Game of Thrones - saying it was the ending that Daenerys Targaryen should have gotten instead in the season eight finale.

One X, formerly Twitter, user penned: "Damsel was the Targaryen happy ending I wanted to see in Game of Thrones."

"Damsel ending is how Game of Thrones [was] supposed to end," claimed a second, while a third echoed: "Elodie got the ending Daenerys Targaryen deserved and I thank the writers of this movie for that."

A final user praised: "So Damsel, in my opinion, was fantastic.

"It was action-y but not overly so, and I enjoyed the pacing a lot. Story was solid, and the ending was VERY satisfying."

Damsel is available to stream on Netflix now.
