Dax Shepard has left fans reeling after sharing a totally unexpected yet extremely NSFW image of his wife, Kristen Bell.
On Tuesday (15 July), the 50-year-old Armchair Expert podcast host - who tied the knot with the 44-year-old Frozen star back in 2013 - took to Instagram where he shared with his 4.1 million followers the snap.
The image in question shows Kristen doing what either looks like a downward dog yoga pose with her left leg up or, equally, she could be attempting a handstand.
Oh yeah, and she's totally naked by the way wearing just a pair of socks with a red box censoring out her behind.

Dax captioned the post, which has since clocked up nearly 160k likes, with a tribute to his missus' Emmy nomination: "People might not know everything that happens behind the scenes in order to create an Emmy nominated performance like Kristen’s.
"This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!"
Kristen received the nomination Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for portraying Joanne in the hit Netflix series, Nobody Wants This, which has since been given the green light for a second season.

Many rushed in to praise Kristen's physique with one Instagram user writing: "Hahahaha yesssss go girl! Suns out buns out for that Emmy!!!"
"How TF do I get those quads? So impressive. Both the quads and the willingness to be nakey!!" gushed a second.
A third chimed in: "Okay Quadzilla, I see you!"
"I wouldn’t be mad at Dax for posting if I also looked this good! Go girl!" beamed a fourth.

Some pointed out the fact that Kristen wasn't actually totally nude, given her calf-length socks.
"She's not naked people.... she CLEARLY has socks on! God forbid a girl have a hobby," outlined a fifth while a sixth joked: "The socks are very important because otherwise she would be naked!"
A seventh praised: "Naked with socks is such a good choice. So is nominating her for an Emmy!"

And others weren't so over-the-moon with the, um, mooning Insta post.
"If Dax don’t post in a few days we know she choked him for this," speculated another.
And a final Instagram user wondered: "Just curious are you more of a 'permission' or 'forgiveness' husband when it comes to posts like this?"
Well, it would appear like Kristen approved as she uploaded Dax's post to her Instagram story shortly after it was posted.
