Molly-Mae defended after being called out for going on child-free holiday as fans make important point
Fans of Molly-Mae Hague have rushed to her defence after she and Tommy Fury jetted off on holiday without their kids.
The former Love Island star, 27, announced she had welcomed her second child, son Midas, in June. She also shares daughter Bambi, three, with her partner Tommy, 27.
Since giving birth several weeks ago, the influencer and business owner has kept fans up-to-date with her growing family, as well as reflections on motherhood and topics like breastfeeding.
However, Molly-Mae found herself in the midst of backlash when she and Tommy flew to Dubai for a holiday without their young children.

The mum-of-two shared an Instagram post showing some moments from their time away.
Fans noticed Ellie Belly from the couple’s Love Island days was resting comfortably on Tommy’s shoulders during their flight. While the other snaps showed Molly-Mae wearing her engagement ring, drinking iced coffees and the happy couple kissing by the pool.
However, the trip appeared to anger some of her followers as Midas is around 10 weeks old.
One person wrote on Reddit: “I have a baby the same age and neither me nor her dad would even leave her to go into our local town at the same time this age, never mind both of us getting on a plane and flying to another continent for a holiday.”
Elsewhere, another parent said: “Wow, travelling without your newborn! I honestly don’t know how you do it. I can’t even leave my baby for an hour without her crying for me because she wants her mama close to her. I genuinely can’t believe you manage it!”
Although the holiday has shocked parts of her fanbase, other supporters have supported the decision as a way for the couple to have ‘quality time’ together. Fans have called for people to remember that they aren't just parents and are allowed to have time away.
“Nothing more precious than remembering you aren’t just mom and dad,” said one fan. “Quality time is always much needed.”
Someone else commented: “For all of you commenting ‘ooo she’s left the children’, they both have and were a couple before becoming parents. Life carries on around being mum and dad.”
In her latest YouTube video, Molly-Mae explained that they were in Dubai for 'basically a day', adding: “I had to come out for something to do with work.”
Earlier this summer, the couple flew to Greece with both of their children.
“I just got back from Greece, we did our first family holiday as a four to Greece,” Molly-Mae said in a previous YouTube video.
“Funny story, it was meant to be a little romantic getaway for me and Tommy but – the thought process behind it – I don’t think he thought about the fact we were literally going to have a seven week old.”

Tommy opens up on the reason for the split, revealing to Men’s Health: "We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn't be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, but I couldn't. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink."
