Body language expert reveals 'real reason' behind Love Island star Uma's nicknames for fellow islanders

Body language expert reveals 'real reason' behind Love Island star Uma's nicknames for fellow islanders

The body language expert revealed the ‘real reason’ why Uma has nicknames for everyone

A body language expert has revealed the ‘real reason’ why Love Island's Uma has nicknames for everyone in the villa.

Love Island is famous and loved for its flirty catch-phrases, but one islander is doing more than just pulling boys for a chat…and it’s starting to wind viewers up!

Uma Jammeh, 23, was the second bombshell to enter the villa last week, after Joey Essex made a surprise appearance on the first night.

And despite her beautifully-bronzed look, her ‘annoying’ habit hasn't been going down well with fans.

In one of the series’ first re-couplings, Ayo Odukoya, 25, decided to couple up with bombshell Uma, leaving his former flame Mimii Ngulube stood alone by the firepit.

But after fans assumed Mimii would be dumped from the island, producers set her up on a date with bombshell Omar Nyame.

Well, after keeping a close eye on the bombshell, body language expert Judi James has revealed the ‘real’ reason behind Uma’s seemingly annoying habit.

Viewers have picked up that she likes to nickname islanders she has involvement with, such as ‘Yo Yo’ for Ayo, and ‘Jo Jo’ for Joey.

She even shortened Mimii’s name to ‘Mims’, after returning from her date with Omar.

Speaking with Buzz Bingo, Judi said: “Mimii is one of the coolest, most intelligent and real girls Love Island has had for years.

“Uma is a disrupter, but she is also a massive power-grabber. Her techniques to diminish Mimii’s status and chip away at her self-respect look brutal at times.

“To come into a group of strangers and start calling them by nicknames breaks all the rules of group hierarchy and behaviour.

“To re-name a girl whose man you’ve just snaffled is even worse. It is a signal of a lack of respect."

Judi went on to explain more about her alleged ‘power’ tactics, including a hug she gave Mimii when she came back from her date.

She added: “Uma forced Mimii to join a hug as soon as she returned from her date with Omar when it should have been Mimii offering the first hug of forgiveness.

“Even as Uma was cuddling Mimii, though, we could see her eyeing Omar up over her shoulder.”

And Uma isn’t the only islander that Judi has her eye on.

Samantha Kenny, 26, is coupled up with Joey, but viewers have picked up that he might be getting a case of the infamous ‘ick’.

After declaring that she was a ‘huge’ TOWIE fan, the expert said his body language spoke for him.

She said: “He tongue-poked, which is a signal of dislike, disgust or rejection. It mimics the act of a baby rejecting food. It gave the impression that Samantha overstepped the mark.”

She also mentioned Samantha claiming the pair were the ‘King and Queen of the villa’.

To which Joey replied, ‘I feel like I’m the King’.

Judi said: “He was letting Samantha know that he doesn’t need her to gain that honour.

“Because Joey pays her minimum attention, Samantha is being driven into desperate techniques to make them look like a couple.”
