The fashion icon’s red-carpet appearance left fans shocked over her get-up, with many calling her choppy and bobbed hair a controversial choice.
One social media user asked: "Who told Vera Wang to come out with that wig on??"

Anyway, she looked stunning in her outfit at the event, but after she went on to post about celebrating her 76th birthday, people were shaken to the core when they realised that she is older than they thought.
Her apparent agelessness has been a talking point for years, but now you can get her glow too as she’s revealed all (like a true girl’s girl).
She shared the secret to getting her perfect skin and keen eye for style, which she says is down to beauty hacks and nutrition secrets.

Surprisingly, she admitted to being just like us, and partial to fast food and a cocktail every now and then, but she is also working hard also help keep her youthful.
Speaking to Page Six Style, Wang revealed: "I do eat McDonald’s, absolutely."
She continued: "I order it every day, like two weeks on it, and then I’ll change."
The businesswoman revealed she credits her 'magic elixir' which helps her keep so young.

"I always said that vodka cocktail, a lot of sleep, but work - work is the magic elixir," she added.
Talking about her approach to her diet, where she champions balance and moderation, Wang once told Harper's Bazaar: "I go through phases with what I eat for lunch.
"I like sashimi with brown rice and vegetables, Chinese steamed broccoli with chicken and rice, or the artichoke salad or fish from Sant Ambroeus.

"At one point I was eating a slice of Ray's pizza every day, and I never gained a pound on it. It's not a bad thing if you squeeze out that excess oil. It's so filling.
"I only drink water - I stopped drinking Diet Coke six years ago. That was the hardest thing I ever gave up."
The seamstress recently spoke to Vogue about her business, and why she’s selling it after 35 years of heading the wedding dress empire to management group WHP Global.
Wang will stay on as founder and chief creative officer of the label, but for her, it’s ‘exciting’ as the company has ‘energy’ and ‘ambition, passion and dedication’.
As for why she’s selling, she said it’ll allow her to do more with her brand, noting: “With this deal, it’s a combination of 1 plus 1 equals 5, rather than -2. That’s important to stress because as a brand, I haven’t been able to partake in many of the concepts and strategies that I’ve wanted to. With this sale, I will be a shareholder, and it will give me the chance to participate in their company and help govern and steer where we go with my brand — and that’s a special combination.”
Big things are happening for this Queen!
