Celebs all over the globe gathered once again for the annual Met Gala yesterday (5 May) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in Manhattan, New York.
And, if you know anything about the Met Gala, you'll know that people watching at home simply can't wait to share their thoughts on everyone's outfit choices and how they've interpreted the theme of the evening.
This year's theme was Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, which goes hand-in-hand with The Met's spring exhibition, celebrating the history of Black fashion and dandyism.

Fashion icon Vera Wang has since become a major talking point following her red carpet appearance with fans shocked over one particular detail surrounding her get-up.

The 75-year-old fashion designer opted for a look featuring light ivory Italian cupro jersey draped gown with a low cowl neckline, a warm French grey feather appliquéd skirt and accented with jet black feather lapels.
But it was Wang's hair which caught the most attention from fans as instead of rocking her signature middle-part long locks, she could be seen sporting a shoulder-length cut with choppy face-framing layers and baby bangs which proved to be quite the controversial choice.

"All I’ma say about Vera Wang is this……I don’t understand the wig. At all," confessed a second.
A third chimed in: "Vera Wang playeddddd with that damn wig."

"Those bangs... yikes," quipped a fourth, while a fifth piped up: "That’s Courtney Cox busted wig from Scream 3."
Another snarled: "I thought you weren't supposed to cut your own bangs."
Others, however, loved the ensemble with a fan writing: "Effortless. The Queen. The Standard. Ms. Vera Wang."
"Owning it!" gushed a second, while a third praised: "Looking stunning as always!"

And a final fan echoed: 'WOW! Looking CLASSY AND BEAUTIFUL Miss. Vera! Gorgeous gown!"
Talking of Met Gala controversy, K-Pop star LISA also sparked quite the heated discussion online after some fans were left convinced she had worn Louis Vuitton lingerie featuring depictions of civil rights activist Rosa Parks.
However, it's important to note that the designer has not actually yet confirmed if the face depicted on Lisa's undies is in fact Rosa Parks.
According to a statement by Louis Vuitton, the lace depicts 'portraits of figures who have been a part of the artist’s life'.

The statement, however, did not clarify if any famous faces were included.
