Most of us have had an on-and-off-again relationship in our life, but not in the public eye.
Travis Kelce and Kayla Nicole began dating back in 2017, after the NFL star apparently slid in her DMs and started flirting.
It seems it wasn't a straight forward relationship though, with repeated breaks before getting back together, before eventually splitting for good in 2022.
Now, the spotlight is on their time together again, after Kelce broke the internet by proposing to Taylor Swift following two years of dating.

Many of Swift's fans have also been commenting on Nicole's social media following the news, prompting Kayla's supporters to call the Swifties 'weird' and to ask them to leave her alone.
Kayla got real about the aftermath of her break-up with the Kansas City Chiefs player when she appeared on a reality TV show.
The sports journalist and presenter was on series 3 of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test when she opened up about feeling sad about being single.
She read a letter she had written, saying: "Full transparency, there's a part of me that wishes I was addressing this farewell to my husband and kids too, I always thought at this point in my life I would have that tribe."
On the show she also complimented Taylor: “I really like, like, her. I think she’s very talented.”
Following their split, Barstool Sports blamed the break-up on Travis being 'cheap'.
Kayla responded on the Unapologetically Angel podcast and she joked: "Do I look like anybody that would split anything?"
"He addressed that too, though. I don’t even know why that even became a thing," she insisted, calling it 'ridiculous'.
"That was never an issue in our relationship but it was definitely a rumour on the internet." She also wrote on X (formerly Twitter) saying: "Not sure where y’all got this nonsense from, but it’s absurd and very false.”
He denied the 'cheap' rumours, explaining on The Pivot Podcast: “Don’t buy into that s***. I would never say that I was supporting her. She had a very financially stable life and what she was doing in her career. But you’ve got to be crazy if you’d think I would never [help] or gave her a couple thousand to grab some food or she gave me some money to go get some food. … We were in a relationship for five years. A hundred dollars here, a hundred dollars there wasn’t even thought about."
Following the news of Travis and Taylor's engagement, Nicole also broke her silence sharing a post about the difference between happiness and joy.
Many of her fans are hoping that she will find love again, although she did confess on the podcast that she would be keeping things private in the future after her experience with Kelce.
