Kayla Nicole, Travis Kelce's long-term ex-girlfriend, has spoken out following the news that the NFL star is now engaged to Taylor Swift.
The 33-year-old on-air sports journalist first began dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight-end back in 2017, before they made their relationship Insta-official in the months that followed.
Kayla later revealed they'd met on the snap-sharing app, telling her followers (via TMZ) he slid into her DMs: "He had been following me and Insta-flirting for a few months."
The following five years saw the couple ceaselessly change their relationship status from on again, to off again, and by 2022, they were said to have called it quits for good.

By mid-2023, Travis had declared himself single and, later that year, he and Taylor Swift took their relationship public after mass speculation.
And earlier this week, the happy couple confirmed they were engaged after two years of dating.
Sharing a 'nearly-wed' photo 'dump' on Tuesday (26 August), Travis could be seen getting down on one knee to ask the Grammy-winner the all-important question, while another image saw musician Taylor showing off her hefty diamond ring.
Since their engagement news broke the internet - racking up over 30 million likes in less than 48 hours - the athlete's ex Kayla has spoken out on social media.
Taking to Instagram yesterday (27 August), the media personality - who has remained single since her split from Travis - reposted a clip originally posted by the account @offthecuff of actress Tracee Ellis Ross discussing 'joy'.
Black-ish actress Ross says in the video: "I work at it. I think joy is different from happiness. I feel like happiness is something you can get at 7/11, and joy is something you earn and work for and takes practice.
"I feel lie joy has legs. I feel like joy has feet, I feel like joy has roots, I feel like creates space and allows for room for more than just a good day.
"I think joy is an attitude. I think joy is a perspective, and I think joy is a lens through which I live and look at my life."
In a message along with her re-post of Ross' wise words on her Instagram Story, Kayla penned: "Read about this very concept years ago in a book called Choose Joy: Because Happiness Isn't Enough.
"I aspire! So so good."
Since her split from Travis, Kayla has only reflected on their relationship in the public on a handful of occasions.
After Barstool Sports reported that she'd allegedly dumped the 35-year-old American footballer for being 'cheap' and making her pay for 'half of everything', she confirmed that it was utter nonsense.
"Do I look like anybody that would split anything?" she asked on the Unapologetically Angel podcast, calling the rumour 'ridiculous'.
"He addressed that too, though. I don’t even know why that even became a thing.
"That was never an issue in our relationship but it was definitely a rumour on the internet."
Sportsman Travis also later shut down these claims.
"You've got to be crazy if you'd think I would never help or gave her a couple thousand to grab some food or she gave me some money to go get some food," he previously said of the speculation in a YouTube clip.
"We were in a relationship for five years. A hundred dollars here, a hundred dollars there wasn't even thought about."
Last year, Kayla also declared her intentions to begin dating 'men in positions of power' going forward - as opposed to athletes.
During an interview on the Behind the Likes podcast in January 2024, she insisted: "I'll never say never, but I fully, wholeheartedly believe that I am out of the athlete stage.
"I do think that I am attracted to men in positions of power, and I also think that those types of men are attracted to me."
Kayla added: "I would love to date an executive of a record label or a movie producer."
