Travis Kelce has just given fans their first taste of what went on at his wedding to Taylor Swift, offering a rare glimpse into the celebrations directly from one half of the newlywed couple.
It was one of the most talked-about ceremonies of the summer. The Kansas City Chiefs star and the pop star tied the knot on 3 July at New York’s Madison Square Garden in a ceremony that was surprisingly private and kept out of the view of the public.
The wedding itself was a star-studded affair, bringing together a host of celebrity guests from across the worlds of music, sport and entertainment. Actor Adam Sandler even officiated the ceremony, but despite all the A-list guests, details from inside the celebrations have remained firmly under wraps.
Aside from a few tantalising glimpses, including a look at the handkerchiefs and signs displayed across New York after the couple exchanged vows, we’ve heard remarkably little about what really happened behind the scenes. Until now.

On Wednesday, Kelce called the wedding ‘the best night of my life’ as he thanked the guests who attended. He also called the ceremony ‘a crazy night’.
The NFL star and the singer have kept much of their nuptials a secret. No official photos have been released.
Kelce was speaking to reporters at the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp in Missouri where the team is preparing for the upcoming season.
When speaking about the venue, he commented: “It was kind of cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married there,” he said, per the BBC.
Madison Square Garden (MSG) is the home arena for the New York Knicks basketball team and the New York Rangers hockey team. It’s also a major live venue for concerts and Swift has performed there multiple times during her 20-year career.

Kelce revealed he wanted to attend a game when the Knicks were having a good playoff run last year, but wasn’t able to due to prior commitments.
The team ended up winning the NBA championships for the first time in nearly six decades this summer.
“My wife went when I was stuck in mini camp so I didn’t get the opportunity to go then.” he said, referring to Swift as his wife for the first time publicly.
The ‘Opalite’ singer attended game 4 of the NBA Finals where she sat courtside. The Knicks won against the San Antonio Spurs in a 107-106 finish.
"I can't thank the owners of MSG enough for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event and everything, and it was perfect," he said.
He later joked about having AC in the building during the wedding which took place as the country experienced a heatwave.
