He told The New York Times’ Popcast: "When there’s things that can benefit people or help people relate to something, I think that’s always like a green light, especially — she’s always trying to do something like that," he said.
"Our journey of miscarriages and then IVF and it’s failed, resulting in us having a baby naturally," he explained.

"I feel like that’s a story that so many people can relate [to]," Barker continued.
They were then asked why they chose to use his documentary as the platform rather than on the Kardashian show, and Barker replied: "The way the documentary happens is through a series of interviews."
He continued: "I’ll say something, and then they’re like, ‘Oh, well tell me more about that,’ ” he said. "And that’s how that came up."
The couple eventually welcomed baby Rocky in November 2023.
Together, they have a blended family of nine altogether.
Kardashian has sons Mason, 16, Reign 11, and daughter Penelope, 14, with her ex, Scott Disick.
Barker has son Landon, 22, and daughter Alabama, 20, who he shares with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
