Timothée Chalamet fans have major theory after he shares unexpected photos

Fans of Timothée Chalamet are convinced that the actor has made a drastic change to his appearance, after he shared a throwback photo dump on Instagram.

Taking to the snap-sharing app last night (15 July), the 29-year-old uploaded a pretty huge collection of pictures from across the years with the simple caption 'vintaje'.

The first saw the Chalamet sipping espresso whilst flaunting his chest in an open purple shirt, which he'd paired with a peach cap perched above his curly brunette locks. Another saw the Wonka front-man posing on the beach in a pair of brightly-coloured dungarees, wind in his hair.

Third was a photo of the star as a toddler, smiling beside his mother whilst wearing a wide-brimmed magician-style hat on his head. Next up, Chalamet could be seen posing in his car, with his slick hair alluding to the fact he'd just gotten caught in the rain.

Another saw him soaking up golden hour in a chic pleated skirt and pair of Timberland boots, whilst a fifth featured the star throwing up a peace sign whilst rubbing shoulders with one of his close pals.

Next, he can be seen donning double-denim whilst posing on a boat, his thick curls brushed over his face.

Several other snaps see Chalamet rocking pink highlights in his hair, hinting that these pics actually date back to 2021, when the movie star dyed it while filming Bones & All.

Basically, from what we can ascertain, the collection consists of photos all taken at various different points in the actor's life.

And whilst you mightn't think there's anything wrong with posting pics from such a colossal range, fans of Chalamet have taken the dump and ran, believing it hints that the star has secretly shaved his head behind the scenes.

"TIMOTHÉE POSTING A PHOTO DUMP OF HIS OWN HAIR! GUYS ITS SOOOO OVER! THAT B***H IS BALD!" one X user wrote this week.

"You think timothee posting all those, was a goodbye too his hair," another added.

"Timothée photo dump just being a curly/long hair mourning post," a third predicted, whilst another went on to guess: "Timothée dedicating a photo dump solely to his past hair looks… he is not rocking with the bald head."

A fifth continued: "Timothée throwback photo drop… yeah his hair is gone… he is reminiscing."

Other fans were pleading for this not to be the case, with one writing: "I love you please don't go bald."

A second said: "PLEASE NO BUZZCUT."

If you're wondering where this arguably far-fetched theory seems to have come from, let us remind you, that the New York-local is said to be filming Dune: Messiah at the moment - a film series where the appearance of characters drastically changes between films.

And being that the third instalment of the sci-fi series is set 12 years following the events of the first two flicks, fans shouldn't be surprised to see some of the lead stars - also including Rebecca Ferguson, Florence Pugh and Zendaya - looking pretty different.
