Travis Kelce’s mum, Donna, shares three word reaction to Taylor Swift wedding

Travis Kelce’s mum has given the world a brief insight into her son’s high publicised wedding with Taylor Swift.

The pop superstar, 36, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 36, tied the knot over the weekend at a star-studded event held at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden on 3 July.

The guest list included 1,000 people with many famous names from the worlds of music, film, TV and sport.

One of the most important attendees was Donna Kelce, the groom’s mother, who has now shared a candid response to what happened behind the scenes.

Details of the extravaganza have been kept private, with the mother of the groom, 74, reiterating that she can’t reveal too much.

Speaking to Macy’s during the 50th Fourth of July Celebration in New York on Saturday, she told the department store’s Instagram: “I can’t really say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man, magical.”

The mum-of-two kept additional details about the ceremony private, instead talking about taking her sons Travis and Jason Kelce, 38, to watch the Fourth of July fireworks as children.

“I remember I used to take the boys down to Lake Erie and we would watch the fireworks in Euclid, Ohio, and we had the best time,” she shared.

Donna was spotted arriving in NYC ahead of the wedding’s rehearsal dinner on Thursday, 2 July.

The Fate of Ophelia singer’s representative confirmed that the bride and groom wore looks created by Christian Dior Haute Couture.

"The bride and groom's wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women's, Men's and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom,” the rep told PEOPLE.

“This is the designer's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement last August after around two years of dating.

She took to Instagram earlier to share the exciting news with her millions followers with an adorable photo dump from the proposal.

Travis likewise shared the joint post to his seven million followers.

The set of five carousel photos captured the loved-up couple surrounded by flowers and foliage as they embraced one another.

The first photo showed the NFL star getting down on one knee and presenting Taylor with the ring, while the second saw the Grammy award-winner holding Travis' face while he held her waist.
