Taylor Swift’s ex Tom Hiddleston has awkward reaction to comment about singer
Thankfully, his co-star jumped in to help
Taylor Swift has been living in all of our minds rent-free recently after another spectacular album announcement.
She broke the news unexpectedly on Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, much to fans' surprise.
During the podcast, she also spoke about her love of sourdough – prompting a brand new conspiracy theory to start swirling.
Swifties picked up on the fact that Super Bowl LX will be happening at the San Francisco 49ers’ Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, with the team’s mascot being Sourdough Sam.

Then there’s the fact she said the hobby was taking up ‘60%’ of her mind at the moment, with the upcoming Super Bowl in 2027 being the 60th edition.
But it seems there’s one person who may not have quite got the memo, and that’s Swift’s ex, actor Tom Hiddleston, who was taken aback when it cropped up in an interview this week.
He appeared on Heart Radio alongside Life of Chuck co-star Karen Gillan, where they were asked how they ‘spend a night’.
"I find myself on the sports highlights," the 44-year-old told Devin Griffin. "It's football or if there's been a tennis championship I've missed. There's all these sports journalists who write really beautifully about sport, and I love reading what they've written."
Griffin then mentioned how we’ve just found out that Taylor Swift is a ‘big fan of a sourdough recipe blog’.
“That’s very, very specific but I could see how you could get into that,” he said with a cheeky smile.
Hiddleston looked slightly confused, before Gillan piped up: "That feels like an easter egg for something. I think it might be something to do with the Super Bowl."
Her co-star – no doubt slightly relieved for her taking this one - then turned to her, saying: "You've got a deep knowledge of the NFL."
Hiddleston, 44, dated Swift, 35, back in 2016, and while it was brief, it still seems to be something that comes up fairly regularly.
As last year’s People’s Choice Awards, Simu Liu made several quips about Swift while hosting the ceremony. At one point, a quick-thinking camera operator cut to Hiddleston, who could be seen laughing in the audience.
“THEY JUST TALKED ABOUT TAYLOR AT THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS AND THEN PUT THE CAMERA ON TOM HIDDLESTON LMFAOOO,” one viewer wrote on X.
“NOT THEM SHOWING TOM HIDDLESTON AFTER TALKING ABOUT TAYLOR,” another said.
Thankfully, Hiddleston has nothing but kind words about his ex.
“Taylor is an amazing woman,” he told GQ a year after they broke up. "She’s generous and kind and lovely and we had the best time.”
